Yes and no. Pitts is a great case for him, but next year Trask will be gone and Emory Jones is a bit on the rough side, to say the least. Most people think Florida will go back to being run heavy next year. I guess we will see.
I do think Florida has another young QB, though, that they are high on so who knows. Anthony Richardson.

That's a good point. I am hearing conflicting reports regarding Georgia.
I read/hear that we are going hard after him, and then I read/hear we are backing off. I'm not sure anybody really knows.

Yep except he times it wrong. Florida, like LSU heading into 2020, will be replacing the record breaking Sr QB and the backbone of the receiving threats. LSU will likely have a more explosive Offense in 2021 compared to Florida.

Can you fault the kid for wanting to go to an offense that just had pitts put up insane numbers at TE? Gilbert needs to realize though that trask is gone and that Backup is not a throwing QB. His best option maybe to stay at LSU.

Gilbert is incredible.
LSU fans who “don’t like him” have nothing to do with his ability. (Even though their reasoning is extremely stupid and misinformed).
The majority of LSU fans never “disliked” Arik Gilbert the football player.

Every fan base has dumb fans. This is an LSU message board. There will be a larger amount of LSU fans, thus a larger chance you read some made up bullshite.
And I haven’t seen many (if any) LSU fans actually try and say he’s a bad football player. That would be moronic. He is elite.

I think the problem most people have with LSU fans is when the "dumb" fans start making stuff up, the "smart" fans don't come on here and call them out.

That is the problem people have with LSU fans. You love a kid when he is at LSU, but if they leave LSU he is garbage and all kinds of disparaging rumors come out about the kid.
