We actually are pretty good at it with Daniels. JT Daniels is averaging 300 yards a game passing. He was injured the first part of the season when we were struggling.

Tell me you are just joking or being snarky. Otherwise I can't imagine why you want to comment on a subject you obviously know very little about.

Hint: This is a troll free zone. If you want to beat your chest and put down other teams based on nothing but the feels, take it to the Rant.

Does #2 in the country count as sucking? Stop embarrassing yourself.

Yards per attempt (Power 5 QBs)
1. Mac Jones- 11.3
2. JT Daniels- 10.4
3. Sam Howell- 10.3
4. Justin Fields- 9.9
5. Kyle Trask- 9.8

It’s incredible how many people still think Georgia is running the same offense as 2017. I’ve had countless arguments with people about this and it’s all the same.

Them: “Georgia runs an ancient offense!”

Me: Well actually, they don’t. Here are some stats to prove it.

Them: “Ok maybe they changed their offense a bit but they only throw short passes.”

Me: “Actually, Georgia threw the deep ball more often than any other SEC team this year.”

Them: “Yeah but they suck at it haha”

Me: Actually, Georgia is #2 in the country (with JTD at QB) among power 5 teams when it comes to yards per attempt

Them: “Well um 1980 ha!”

Georgia’s offense was better with JT. But it still was Miss St., Sc, Mizzou, and then a non-power 5 team. Just saying. Small sample size as well. I wouldn’t trust it.

Do you even know what a Power 5 team is? Cincinnati is a G5 team. And, they actually had a pretty decent team. never mind we lost our #1 receiver before the season started, and another up and coming receiver in the Florida game while making a TD catch.

But, yes. It is a small sample size, but it is significant that the coaches felt strongly about throwing the ball more often with a real QB at the position. Will it pay dividends next year? Who knows, but it is a start.

BTW, I knew what you meant, and figure you probably just typed faster than you were thinking when you called Cincy a P5 team. (I do this all the time, too.)

I mean, your point is well taken, but there is no denying we are throwing the ball more and doing it well with the limited sample size that we have.

Saban would make Arik block and he doesn't seem to like that. Saban makes all his WR's and TE's block. One of the under rated reasons their offense is very good.

I never heard of Billingsley until this year and he looks very solid.

Arik was a freak talent. I was hoping that his personal problems could have been resolved and that he would decide to return to LSU. However, the difference in the general attitude and motivation of the team appeared to change dramatically after Arik and Marshall opted out. That might have just been a coincidence, but it was definitely noticed.

Agreed. Looking forward to the UGA Clemson matchup. Will be a good test if UGA can sling it.

UGA seems to be the favorite for Arik right now.

Let's hope so. We'll see. It will still be early in the year, but it should give us an indication.

I looked at the portal and didn't see him this morning. I'm not sure if it just isn't showing up yet, or what is going on.

He never entered it, even though he announced he is. Then he deleted the tweet saying he was entering

Tbh a lot of LSU fans have given him a ton of shite, but no one knows what’s really going on

He could really have some problems he’s working through, and hopefully his teammates are there to help him

Yeah. This is a situation that is probably best to leave as a wait and see.

I thought he reposted it after fixing it. Also, LSU has a couple of days to put the paperwork in so it could be Wednesday before he’s officially in.

Maybe, seems weird to delete the tweet in that circumstance though. If I had to guess he’s not sure as of now
