Very few teams have worked the portal as well as Florida, however

1. If Gilbert was primarily interested in scheme, usage, and football fit - why would he leave LSU?

2. If Gilbert isn't primarily interested in scheme, usage, or football fit - why would he go to Florida?

It makes no sense to me.

Come on dude. Don't slander a kid on here unless you have hard evidence. Not cool.

Of course there will be evidence, but you can put the pieces together. Happened to another lsu player. They had to miss a game because of a reaction to synthetic weed. Of course no "hard" evidence ever came out, but it was pretty easy to read between the lines.

The dude had an episode or something happen. His mom had to come get him and brought him home for his well being. The release that he was just "homesick" comes out. Thats all good. Go home, transfer to Georgia or other nearby schools and we all move on.

Transfer to Florida? And he's homesick? Give me a break.

Great point! Honestly and I say this with no hard feeling towards Gilbert but I think truly he is a major headcase! He has unbelievable God given talent, but that will come at a cost!

I am not a cop and neither are you. I don't know what happened with the kid and neither do you. My point is this. You don't know so you shouldn't even mention it. How would you like it if somebody knew who you were and started talking about you that way at work?

Has he transferred to Florida? You must be exhausted after jumping to all those conclusions.

This whole forum is nothing but rumors. There are a few insiders that know bits and pieces and im sorry that can't figure things out on your own.

LINK

Take a look at that link and you might learn something.

That said, I wouldn't think any SEC school would be a "lock" until we know if the SEC is going to allow immediate playing time for intraconference transfers.

Agree. This is why FSU is picking up these SEC transfers now. Players need to enroll in the next few days and there is too much uncertainty transferring to a SEC school until this is understood. I think he either goes back to LSU and re-enters the portal in the summer or transfers to a non-SEC school.

If NCAA rules applicable to member institutions specifically allow immediate eligibility, I doubt conference rules can/will disallow it.

Maybe Gilbert should transfer to Clemson. It's close to home, great QB (in same class as him) and they love big WRs.

Rumors yes. But they should not be the sort that slanders kids. If somebody went to your work place and started spreading unsubstantiated rumors about you,you would shut it down in a hurry.

Yeah. I'm sure you are. Spotless probably.

I also find it hilarious that your link explaining Deductive Reasoning implies that you think anybody that wants to transfer from LSU has drug problems, mental problems or is a cancer to the team.

Man. You can't make this stuff up.

Made up or not, it is what it is.

Your ongoing effort to white knight for players being bashed by rantards is mostly a waste of time and energy. The reinforcing behavior they engage in with their ilk trumps any sensible disapproval of it, especially an outsider's.

Yeah. I know. I get it. I was hoping to see if I could pull just a little bit of shame out of them for talking about kids like that.

I don't think he will come to Georgia, fwiw. If he does have problems I hope he can get them taken care of. You won't catch me coming on here and gloating about them, though.
