Rumor swirling that he will be elevated to an on field coach for this weeks game against Auburn.

Damn I hope not. He's been around a while to remain so unimpressive to me at least, on offense.

You got it from micheal on Twitter? From what I can see he's only one who said it... anyone else reporting it?

He'd be a temporary assistant for 2 weeks tops, not running the program

It ain't that dire, just someone that would be taking some work off Sark's suddenly overfilled plate. Saban wouldn't have hired him twice if he wasn't capable of game prep work.

Yea, I don’t get the doom and gloom. He’s not being asked to the the offensive coordinator. I’d rather have Strong be the temporary assistant, but what do I know? Lol

I know most people think it should be or want it to be Strong. But it does make sense to be someone on the offensive side of the football.
Sark will be handling head coaching duties, so it will take a little off of him.

everybody has fun mocking Jones, but watching all the rest of the coaches fail at UT, could be he isn't such a lousy coach after all

that said, I hope the temporary sideline coach is Charlie Strong, for obvious reasons

It makes sense to leave Pete Golding 100% in charge of the defense? I have seen the board's opinion of him, with Saban out there helping him.

I’d have thought it would be strong as well.

It make sense because Don't fix what's not broken for Defense the last few weeks. Same people, same process, same plan in place.

Get Sark extra help on offense, giving Major half of the roles that saban usually handle and allow Sark to focus more on offense.

Javier Arenas is one of my all time favorite players. Dude could ball with the best of them.

Alex Mortensen has been a GA and analyst at Alabama for what seems like 10 years.

And the first time Auburn throws a new wrinkle at our defense, which you KNOW Gus will do, our DC and the defense will lose their collective minds and look like a deer in the headlights.

That dude is such a fake insider it’s scary. It makes me laugh that anyone think he has “sources”.

Some of us do remember one bright October day when Applewhite took John Chavis to the woodshed.
