And he probably said the same about the class that got waxed in January.

The ones who went 27-1 vs the SEC the last 3 years?

He is pushing 70. Eventually everybody slows down. Hell as hard as he has pushed himself for the last 20 - 30 years I'm surprised he has made it this far without having a serious medical issue.

Does hip replacement at 67 yrs old count? Oh, and had his old arse back in the office within 48 hrs after surgery.

What did Hugh do, 2-3 vs Saban? Not bad, about like Gus in his first 5 yrs.

I was thinking something a bit more long term but sure.

Because his hip was tired of him yelling at it and it healed quickly.

And those 2 teams that did lose the national title games DOMINATED the SEC, going 18-0............

..........so what does that say about the rest of the SEC?

They must be AWFUL

Also, one SEC team didn't score a single point against either of those 2 teams. Crazy!

Damn, this is sad. Not on Saban but anyone who thinks they're actually making a point by bringing it up like this. I would say that in the vast majority of 2-parent households that the mother is the more likely to coddle and be lenient while the father will be strict. No, not every household is the same, but Saban basically said he and his wife have a normal household. It is not even a little controversial.
