His team was totally unprepared in the national championship game. That's on him even if his reasons are that his players and coaches were more interested in other things. So, by calling them out, he is basically saying that he didn't do his job.

He calls out his wife in parenting even though he probably spent a total of 2 hours a week with his kids as they were growing up.

He lets Alabama beat itself at least once a year. How can you let yourself get beat by yourself. That is really inexcusable and points to an issue with the head coach.

He's essentially going around blaming everyone else when all of those things are squarely under his control.

Yeah the line about parenting was awkward. It’s like dude, you essentially put your wife on blast for being an enabling parent in front of the entire college football world.

I do it at least once a day.

He signed his best class at Bama 5 months ago and what Luginbil calls the best signing class on paper EVER.

I wish he was losing it on Florida’s sideline if that counts.

Oh, boy.
This won't look sarcastic at all by 2021.

Bama really should do the right thing and put the old guy out to pasture.

Why tarnish his legacy?

If you love Saban, Bama, set him free

He is pushing 70. Eventually everybody slows down. Hell as hard as he has pushed himself for the last 20 - 30 years I'm surprised he has made it this far without having a serious medical issue.

It feels like the clemson game was the beginning of the end for Nick Saban. He had a hell of a run. The best of all time.

People were saying the same thing in 2013, yet 6 years later... Still no end in sight.

Ah I guess we'll just let him play out the string. As this board has been pointing out, he's lost a step, hates his wife, nobody wants to coach or play for him and is getting dunked on by Gus.

Sure he's 27-1 vs the SEC the last 3 years, but I think we all know that was a mirage.

How many times is this going to be said? It’s wishful thinking.

I know right? Coach O, Matt Luke, More-heads and Chad Morris are licking their chops right now.

And he probably said the same about the class that got waxed in January.

Nope. Someone in the crowd had a sign that says "I like popsicles."

Definitely - the entire SEC got the blueprint.
