a procedure done yesterday to help the healing. Should be out a week.

So we have 2 slightly gimpy guys going into LSU. Thank goodness we got 2 weeks.

I jinxed him last week when I said its incredible how Jalen takes so many hits yet stays healthy. Sorry guys.

Hope he gets better and is ready in two weeks. I have no doubt that LSU will try to get after Tua.

they are not very good at it. Their dline is kind of garbage, they get pressure with blitzing, which I hope they try against us. Irv and the rbs finna eat

Alabama QB Jalen Hurts has procedure for ankle sprain (ESPN)
quote:

Alabama coach Nick Saban said backup quarterback Jalen Hurts has "a bit of a high-ankle sprain" following the team's win over Tennessee.

Saban, appearing at a speaking engagement Monday in Birmingham, Alabama, said Hurts underwent a "minor procedure," but doesn't expect the junior QB to be out for long.

"I think he will be out for one week, probably this bye week and he will probably be ready to start working again next week," Saban said.

I don't think he hurt it in this game. I think maybe something has been nagging and they waited until the bye week to take care of it.

That's actually happened a couple of times now with Jalen. Seems like against Arkansas or Mizzou, Jalen got the team close to the red zone and then they put in Mac. Not sure why.
