Kelly is a good coach. But everyone in the SECW has a good coach, so nothing is really changing as far as the West landscape is concerned. Not sure why LSU fans think he's such a game changer or why other fans think he's a subpar hire. Anyone who thinks either is probably just a troll.

I am good with it. Personally I would have liked to have spoken with Billy Napier but there are too many egos in Louisiana to consider that as a possibility.

They could have hired Donald Duck and they would be shouting "Homerun". I've read over and over,"this would have been my first choice but I didn't think he was available". But then you see Bilichik and Saban and others on their list. But what else can the say. Just bend over take it tell yourself you like it.

Only knock I see is his age. I wanted someone younger but he’ll have LSU rolling for the next 5 years or so.

I mean... we are. We had a GREAT run with Coach O in 2019. But need a true X's and O's coach. A breath of fresh air. A coach that is here to win games. Excited to see what he can do with LSU talent.

FWIW, when Riley bailed I was freaking out. The coaching changes board was in free fall, full on dumpster fire mode..
I assure you, NONE of the fans expected Kelly but honestly, he's a pretty exciting prospect. As a sidewalk Bammer fan, I can understand you probably not remembering what it was like before your team hired Saban, or before your beloved Patriots and probably Yankees and Lakers won all those Super Bowls/World Series/NBA championships respectively.

What do you expect? The majority of their fans are morons. They actively rip on Jimbo, who was hired by Scott, and in the same breath talk about what a great hire Scott made with Kelly. Legit talking out of both sides of their mouth. God bless those morons

Definitely happy. It's rare you convince one of the top coaches in the country to leave a historic program. No doubt Coach K gets the best out of these players.
