Awful timing. Recruiting classes gone, players will transfer, no coach this late in the year. Wow! Smh lol
Stoops handed him a playoff caliber OU team in 2017 with great recruiting classes and he goes and does this.

Didn't he say that he was on board with the administration and stuff like that?

Maybe pay him more and give him all the resources he wants/needs to keep up with the SEC.
Or else you’ll have shite like this happen. OU is a destination job. Nobody leaves that job unless they are unhappy. OU is responsible for this. Not Riley

Welcome to the SEC, bitch!

Yeah, that sucks. Never cared for Riley, tbh. He’s a whiney bitch, OU will be fine without him.

Interesting to see if Caleb Williams follows him to SC. I guess it’s also a forgone conclusion that Malachi Nelson will flip to SC in a matter of days.

LR may be the most sensitive coach to not hurt anyone's feelings there is in big time football.
Something happened about the Baylor game and he checked out. He wasn't even trying. You could see the stress. Then:
No show to press conference 2 weeks ago.
No show for Coach's show.
No show to tell players goodbye.
The players all found out via media.
He was going to go. He really feels that he fits the Cali type of life, more than LSU. Defenses figured out, take away the long ball and force him to run and it is not his game.

From a fox reporter, he didn’t want OU to join the SEC.

OU hired an offensive coordinator from the American Athletic Conference to be their head coach. He had no experience coaching any defensive unit in his life and had never been a head coach at any level.
He could probably do sign language in his sleep with both hands tied behind his back, calling plays in Japanese and Hebrew, but he can't coach a defense for shite.
Good riddance

I just read a report that OU top target is Kliff Kingsbury. Would link but it’s on Facebook so no link.

Some loyalty huh? Even OU gets the shaft every once in a while. Maybe Jimbo will come your way.

OU knew exactly what they had, and they were willing to let him go.

Just a suggestion friend, might I suggest a head coach with SEC experience, potentially low buy out, and known as an offense genius?
