Former Hurricanes booster Nevin Shapiro, who is serving on house arrest the remainder of his 20-year sentence for running a Ponzi scheme, thinks Kiffin is the target. According to what Dan Wetzel shared on this week’s “College Football Enquirer” podcast, Shapiro told Wetzel that Kiffin is Miami’s top candidate, with Randy Shannon as the defensive coordinator.

Good. It’s never the first coach mentioned.

Yep…the clock is ticking…it always was.

Lane Kiffin only has loyalties to Lane Kiffin.
He will leave Ole Miss high and dry at the first opportunity.

I’ll translate this for you: “clickbait, clickbait, clickbait…”

Hmmm.
Miami or Oxford?

I always love whenever shite like this gets said as if their coach loves their university and program so much that they refuse agent representation and the millions of dollars a year they get paid.
Coaches are paid mercenaries. All of them. As much as you want to suck off your coach he doesn't give a shite about you at the end of the day.

This, but considering how he is recruiting, I think he just ends up with a monster contract in Oxford.

Lane is obsessed with beating Saban.
He will never leave the SEC.
ETA: when Fla opens up, look out but he isn’t going to LSU.

Kiffin is all but gone. Heard from a very reliable source there is a memorandum of understanding in place.

It's a truly great fit. Kiffin belongs in Florida

And how is he recruiting, exactly? No flame, serious question. He just had three four stars decommit. I'm sure I'll hear the "they were dropped" argument but nobody with any degree of intelligence believes that.
Do you guys like the idea of loading up with 10 or more out of the transfer portal?

Have you ever been to Miami-Dade before? It's 90% ghetto. If Kiffin bolts, he would have more desirable choices to go to.

I'm pretty sure that Kiffin is looking to see if Florida is going to open up behind the scenes. It's the only better fit

He will wind up in Gainesville instead of Miami. Once they lose to a horrible FSU team, Muffin will be run out of town on a rail and Kiffin will swoop in and take over.

I could absolutely see that

Where does kiffin want to end up.
Seems like he’d be at Miami for three years and then want to bolt to the nfl or some other p5.
What do you think his top 5 destinations are and why does he really screw up before going to each one?
He could have shave three jobs off his resume and be a conference winner by now, somewhere.

Somewhere in Florida where he can go deep sea fishing on the weekends, and nail women half his age on a regular basis. I think quality of life matters more to him than being a football coach
