Some perspective...

It is pretty simple...How many would have laughed at anyone who predicted a 4-1 start with Texas, aTm, and UGA on the schedule?
Pittman is ahead of schedule...Winnable games left in Ole Miss, Auburn, Miss State, LSU, and Missouri. Pittman is one recruiting class in. Our LBs are mostly walk ons. Our OL was absolute trash 2-3 years ago. Our team was absolute trash 2 years ago. Pittman has turned our pig into a semi-decent 3rd runner up in a beauty contest.
I had us pegged for 6-7 wins. Actually think I put 7-5 on the rant season predictions thread. Team has a chance to win 8-9 games this year and possibly get to 10 wins with a bowl win. That is crazy talk and I would have laughed and called you an idiot if you had said that to me in the off season.
Nobody needs to be fired over this loss. It is what it is. We lost to likely the best team in the nation with the best athletes on defense.

We are an average SEC team which I agree is an amazing accomplishment considering where we were 2 years ago. The A&M game gave us false hope about being something more than we are. Turns out they are not a top 7 team. Maybe not even a top 30 team.
Pretty much every team has looked like crap on the first road game in a hostile environment. Us, TX, Florida, Auburn, even Alabama. We weren’t the only team struggling with false starts.

The horde of false starts was annoying, the bad penalties was upsetting. But we've had those problems all season. We just played a team that could take advantage of those mistakes this week and we paid the price for them. It is something for the coaching staff to work on as the season goes on.
As for the season my guess was that we would be 2-3 at this point and need to sweep the Landmass schools and beat Missouri to have a hope at a bowl game.

I predicted 9-3 at the beginning of the year with losses to ole miss, alabam, and Georgia. So far we are right on schedule but even if we fall short of that this season should still be considered a success due to the difficulty of it. Next year will be tough but nothing like this season. With another recruiting class under his belt I expect to possibly turn somewhat of a corner. My hope is that within the next 2 years play in a ny6 bowl and hopefully compete for an sec title within the next 4.

Sam will get Arkansas back to a regular bowl team. Anything more than that is a bit unrealistic.

Your coach is way ahead of schedule. And to be honest (it kills me to admit this), Georgia will destroy everyone they play this year if they continue to execute at such a high level on defense.
I am pretty sure you beat us, and I think you have a shot with Ole Miss.

Anybody that watched the game and couldn't see the difference between Georgia's starters and our starters can't be helped.
Georgia was focused. They did not take us lightly. Our guys looked intimidated and Georgia whooped their butts.
Two years ago, Western Kentucky blew us out at home. The perspective is that we felt like we could give Georgia a tough game because Pittman is turning it around right in front of us.
Kentucky gave Stoops time to build his program and they are going to have a good year. Hog fans need to give Pittman time to erase the last decade of bad coaching and losing.

tbf they have to get the penalties and punts fixed, that shite is inexcusable
Getting blown out by the most talented team in the country at their place isn’t crazy, but there were some things that are in our control that we fricked up and need to fix

If he does I agree.
I will admit... I did not think Harsin would do as well has he has at Auburn this season. I know, y'all had an OMG game against Georgia State but I thought this season would go much worse for you. I am fairly optimistic for Auburn after your first several games.

The only hope I had before the game was that we would come out healthy which I hope we did. We probably lose next week too. It was a fun ride being relevant again for a couple of weeks and we still have a great team and a chance to win 8-9 games but we had to come down to earth eventually. We have a group of fighters but we don't have championship depth and that's going to show up when we face it.
What we should all be happy with is that, even though she took a broadside, tFlagship sails again.

Did you see that play that Nix made last night on that scramble TD pass? It's truly never ending for that program. You can always bet your arse that they will make some never before seen play or the refs will bail their asses out on something.

Didn't see it live but saw the highlight.

I think Arkansas could win 8-9 games and go to a good mid-level bowl and have a good chance to win it. The Pitt Boss should have a great recruiting class, which will give your team a solid base to continue improving over the next few years.
I told you guys when he was hired that you would love this guy. You saw the love and respect the Georgia players and fans showed him Saturday before and after the game.

I don't know a bout all that. I just want to beat Ole piss. Losing to them is worse than any mauling from Georgia.

Keep telling myself.... we are WAY ahead of expectations. Still like this team and I think we will bounce back and be fine. I said 8 wins at the beginning of the year and I think we can still get there but it won't be easy and we knew that coming into it. But dang it we got to stop it with the self inflicted wounds.
