What’s the loudest game you’ve ever been to?

My answer is random but to this day, I still think it’s 2010 Arkansas for me. Maybe it really was or maybe it’s just nostalgia.

That was before my time. I was at 2008 Bama blackout but I don’t remember that. I fell like a lot of the games in the 2010s were super loud because you never knew what was going to happen next and wind were.... not always forthcoming

When Prince Miller took that punt return back in the 2008 Alabama game, Sanford sounded like a jet plane taking off

‘14 Clemson game

The one time I went to Jacksonville in ‘19, I was impressed at how loud that place gets.

It was this one. The entire game was nuts. The energy was unreal. A piece of the building I worked in on campus at the time broke off. Found it the next day right in front of the main doors. Woulda killed someone had they not all been in and right outside the stadium.

2013 LSU was pretty loud as well.

2002 SECCG. When we blocked the punt early it sounded like a bomb went off

LSU when AJ Green got a celebration penalty on our go ahead TD. We lost, but my ears were ringing the whole fourth quarter.

The first auburn blackout takes It and we have had some loud ones. The unknown black jerseys. The captains taking the coin toss in red and us coming out of the tunnel in black. The massacre of auburn, our at that point talented rival, soulja boy playing and the players dancing on the benches. The route was on and the kickoff team was out there dancing in their return positions. Never have I been in a more magical environment.

I've heard that the announcement of #1 Ohio State being upset by Illinois sent that crowd into a frenzy.

Auburn Blackout for home game….

That South Carolina game when the dad surprised the family might have been legit the loudest moment of any game I’ve been to. I was yelling too, was awesome. The game wasn’t. We got smoked

I think wall to wall it was 2013 LSU.

Some good moments though :

AJ Green touchdown against LSU in 2009
Blocked FG 2012 SECCG
I don’t remember the year I was young but we had a 100+ yard pick six to put away Auburn
Missed FG and sack 2018 NCG

2003 with Odell Thurman. That one sounded awesome on TV.

That’s probably true, but it was consistently out of control from the sound of the trumpet to the final note of Tara’s Theme. I couldn’t have picked that moment out of anything else going on that night.

I guess by decade. SC 85. 92 UT was the loudest game while I was a student. Those were some low times for UGA football. The student side at that time never got loud and we were notorious for showing up mid 2nd quarter from all the partying we were doing. Loudest game overall I think was Clemson 2014. It was hot as hades but that place was deafening. Night games are definitely way louder. The 12pm games in Sept & Oct it seems baking in the sun quiets things down.
