Texas won the first game in the series 54-0 in 1894. In fact, Arkansas would not score its first points in the rivalry until a 1907 game. It took them 13 years to score against Texas. That was some defense by the turn of the century Longhorns.

Back when teams played the Likes of Fort Smith high school. Arkansas was a local university of the time period and didn't have statewide fans. In other words no one cared.

Don't care. We'll score early and often in about a month.

You boys are fixing to find out you aren't much in the SEC. You'll never be Bama. Never LSU. Never Aggy. Not OU.

Not even lil ol Arkansas.

You'll see soon.

Early and often

I'm looking forward to their equivalent of a midget wrestling title matchup this season.

Thank you for the status report of games played with leather helmets when a TD was 5 points

I presume that keeps you warm at night?

My god, you are going to talk shite about the 1800s? 1894 was the first year Arkansas ever played football outside of intramural sports. They played on the front lawn of Old Main for fricks sake. Of course it's going to take them a few years to get things figured out.

There is a reason why everybody hates Texas, so arrogant, so fricking stupid.

How about this, instead of spending all of your time finding a stretch of years that makes yourself feel good about a Texas team that has sucked shite for the last decade, why don't you spend it on trying to figure out why Texas can't even power your state during the winter so half your population doesn't freeze to death. Maybe you should start by voting in politicians that aren't going to run off to Cancun at the first sign of trouble.

Honestly, maybe you should crawl back in your mother's snatch and cook a little longer?? Things didn't seem to go exactly to plan the first go-round.

Just food for thought

Someone trying to show relevance based off stuff over a century ago? Obvious Aggy.

I wonder how many posts until another Aggy tries to say they are so good since they won a near years bowl for the first time in 60+ years, all during the Covid dominated season.

Typically Aggy would then say Texas has been down the past decade , yet Texas still beat an sec team in the sugar bowl a few years ago.

They would then try to point out that Georgia players opted out, without mentioning the mighty (sarcasm) Tar Heels had their biggest weapons opt out.

I will try to get this thread back on track after being hijacked by others (frick A&M).

It took Arkansas 40 years to beat Texas for the first time.

That's about how long it would have taken LSU to score in the 2012 natty.

Texas is a solid candidate to replace Arky as the most annoying fan base. Congrats.

One of the great rivalries in their day & an annual impact on the national championship scene through the 60’s.
