Florida snags two transfers

Former 4 star A&M corner Elijah Blades. Started 2 games in 2019.
Former 3 star Clemson OL Kaleb Boateng. Saw action in 5 games over two seasons.
As frustrating as Dan and his staff can be closing on the recruiting trail, they do have a great ability to snag transfer talent.

I think Blades is scholarship. The OL is definitely PWO.

To be fair the transfer players at Florida have been solid so far under Mullen.

There have been some pretty decent walk-ons.
Stetson Bennet for one. I mean, he came in when one QB was hurt and the other opted out and saved us from a disastrous situation. And there can always be a player that is overlooked. Hey Clemson wanted the OLineman, so I would think he can at least be depth, and maybe more.

Blades is a little undersized (tall but rail thin) and always hurt. He could be a decent depth piece. I wouldn’t rely on him to start.

Blades is a VERY solid pickup with a lot of talent.
He knew where he would likely land in the depth chart at A&M and knew it was unlikely he would have started (without injured players). So a great professional decision for him and one that will benefit Florida assuming he can stay on the field.
Congrats on that pick-up.

Isn't it pathetic. I really dislike Mullen's approach to recruiting and his weak staff. Send his arse back to Miss State along with Stricklin.

If you can get a former 3 or 4 star player to walk on to your team then that’s a plus not a minus
