I might get some blowback for this one, but the eagle flying around the stadium in Auburn is pretty fricking cool

I appreciate a good marching band. LSU's band has an impressively loud sound. The way the Auburn marching band enters the field through the stadium is cool.
The Rebal marching band blows.

Came here to post this. He flew right over me when I went to JHS. I wish LSU would bring Mike back out onto the field.

1. Georgia
2. Tenn.
Ohio State and ATM are tied for the worst.

Have to admit, LSU. The food cannot be beat. Had an uncle & aunt that lived in Plaquemine, went with them a couple of times, great times & met some great people.

The MOB, best halftime entertainment ever.

quote:
The Rice Owls band known as the “MOB” (Marching Owls Band) is known for its crazy antics like in 2007, when it mocked the legal troubles of Texas players by doing a “Dragnet” theme in Austin.
And they really outdid themselves Saturday night when Rice played against the Longhorns again. While performing on the field, the band formed the word “$EC” with a dollar sign for the “S” in reference to the fact Texas A&M is attempting to leave the Big 12 for the Southeastern Conference.
While it could be contrued as a shot at Texas A&M for the Aggies’ greed, we fully believe this was meant to insult Longhorn fans for driving off conference members with, among other things, the controversial Longhorn Network.
Considering Rice would love to be extended an invite to the Big 12 if other members left the conference, we’re guessing Owls AD Rick Greenspan didn’t sign off on this performance.

Relates to UGA, but at the game in Jacksonville, I think it's pretty cool how all the dawg fans are on one side and the gators on the other

I haven't been to a ton of places but LSU puts on a tremendous feed bag and was very welcoming. I think they have a very under rated campus as well.

I'll never forget that blonde in Tuscaloosa after that OT thriller in '05.

The Basilica on game days @ ND then watching the band march through campus in route to the stadium is really tough to beat.

If Keeneland is still running, going to watch the ponies run and then go to the game is a great day. Tailgating is fantastic!!

I have already provided that information in other threads. I am an old guy who has been to every B12 stadium 3 PAC stadiums, 5 SEC stadiums and two BiG stadiums.
Atmophere: Went with PSU graduate friends and the Penn PSU tOSU atmosphere was great.
Fans: the Alabama fans were the most friendly, gave us pleanty to eat and drink and spoke really, by far, the best football converasations. Actually talked about football, traditions and not all the boasting crap that I have experienced from some teams on this site
Tennessee fans were great before the game. After . . .

Arkansas 2010. Little Rock. shite stadium. But electric atmosphere for a huge game.
Also, although I’ve never experienced it in person, the FSU tomahawk chop is the best college football chant ever.

I want to do this, but the game this season is the week before Keeneland opens.

i like tailgating on bama's campus. always have a good time. but the in stadium experience, though loud at times, is all orchestrated piped in cheers.
auburn was loud as shite (1994), as was the swamp (1998 & 2000).

Saw the 67 Arkansas and TT game, where they came from 24-0 down to barely lose, in Little Rock
