No more bashing Gus or praising him. I like Gus but I love Auburn. Can we talk football. The season is coming up soon. I believe we can win 9-10 games and maybe more this year. Maybe some one closer to the program can give their 2 deep offense and defense . What is our offense going to look like . I check on some Boise St games but could not get a feel from highlights. It did seem to be more down field throwing. We need to let Tank loose. Anybody talk some football to me .
What did Dre son say about the visit ? It most likely kill his dad to put that Auburn id around his neck.
THANKS WDE

I'm seeing 7-5 with an outside shot at 8-4, if we can beat one of the stronger teams(PSU,GA, T&M, LSU).

Dre's son would be Saban's first legacy player at Alabama. No way he's not going to Bama. Saban will make this occasion happen.

Solve these question marks and we have a good to better shot at 9 wins.
a 'go to' clutch WR or 2 emerges
Bo gets rid of his 'happy feet pocket abandonment'
Bo becomes a more accurate, progression successful passer
OL stays healthy and becomes better at pass blocking
Harsin finds a way to win a tough 4th qtr battle against one of the heavy weights

I think we'll win one of PSU, LSU, UGA. Lose one of Ark/Miss/MSU. Lose to A&M and Bama and beat SCAR.

So 7-5.

Auburn has a veteran Qb, the most talented RB in the nation (arguably), solid WR core, an experienced OL and a solid defense. Plus the best PK in the SEC.

I am cautiously optimistic

15-0 ship!

I expect at least 8-9 wins regular season just based on offense being more coherent.

Based on what? Just Bobo? Certainly not the spring game where the offense looked totally bad.

Its anyones guess to what the offense will look like and perform like

I would think the defense would still be pretty good if we can keep them off the field.

We will struggle with LSU, Bama, UGA, TAM, Arkansas and Ole miss. Not sure about Penn State. That would be a big win for Harsin. It would be like our wins against Washington, Oregon as of late. He could use that win

If having competitive games is considered struggling, then yeah, Auburn going to be struggling a lot this season

We were better than both those teams.
We were more talented than both Arky and Ole Miss, but we appeared ill-prepared and outcoached against both. Took some lucky breaks to pull those out.

After going 6-5 playing 10 SEC teams and the one give away bowl (19–35)...

... you're prognosticating that a season with Akron, Alabama State, and Georgia State will have a net gain of one?

( yep - stranger thing have happened.)

Akron - W
Alabama State - W
At PSU - W didn’t have a good team last year. Don’t expect much change.
GSU - W
At LSU - Agree it’s an L until proven otherwise
UGA - L ughh no comment. I only care about winning this game at this point. I’m sick of barely losing to these assholes.
At Ark - W
Miss - W
At A&M - W I don’t see it happening with a new QB
MSU - W
At USCe - W
Bama - W hmm idk. We have them at home and new QB. Something tells me this is another classic Auburn win.

At the end of the day I feel like we are going to do way better than expected. I know he hasn’t done much, but I see Bo stepping up this year. Gus is gone and Harsin is know for developing QB’s. I think we have the two losses. If we win at LSU, I think Arkansas will be a trap game and possibly lose there (weird I know). I just can’t see us beating Georgia this year and I hate that. UGA has become the only game I care about winning (yes I care about winning them all). It’s time to turn around the ship, I may be way off but this year I have a good feeling and I usually am pretty good about guessing our W/L record.

May want to revisit your LSU prediction.

LSU projected QB starter, out with severe arm injury requiring surgery.

Yeah that's pretty optimistic. I'm looking at more like 6-7 wins. The key games will be:
PSU
ARK
OM
A&M
MSST

Those 5 games are all toss up games with the rest being a high likelihood of wins or losses. I think we have 4 highly likely wins, and only USCe the only league game in that category. So that means we must win 3 of the 5 games above (and handle business in the surefire win games) just to get to 7. I think that's very doable. I just think a lot of people are sleeping on OM and ARK. Those are 2 teams that really should have (ie pretty much did) beat us last season.

So we need to steal one of LSU, UGA, or BAMA, to get to 9. Then win 4 of the 5 above without dripping another elsewhere to get to 10.

I like the optimism, but I just don't see it. The talent/depth just isn't there imo. Does the new coaching staff make up for that lack of depth? We shall see, but that's a big hurdle.
