Admittedly idgaf about UGA but I loath Clemson and their douchy fans. This is more of an expected schadenfreude on my part.

I think losing TL will be a big loss for them and the dirty Dawgs roll.

JTD is a huge boon to their program minus the loss of Pickens of course.

Slight UGA lean. Clemson's secondary against Ohio State looked glaringly unathletic. They dont recruit quite as well as UGA, Ohio State, and Bama and thats where it showed up last year. Plus they run a really basic offensive scheme that has been masked by Trevor Lawrence and an easy yearly schedule. But the past 3 playoff games, they werent able to consistently score. I think Kirby and staff can come up with a plan to limit points and pull out a win

Clemson isn't that great. Since their Super Bowl win against Bama, they've been on the decline. Got their asses whipped by LSU. Lost to Notre Dame last season and got absolutely jackhammered in the arse by OSU (who wasn't even that good). I think their program is overrated and of course very boosted by that joke of a conference they play in. Georgia wins that game.

They opened as 3 point favorites. Should come down to a few key plays.

Not at all, but I do think that new QB is getting too much hype

As noted, the biggest matchup in that game is going to be whether Clemson can cover Georgia. They've looked shockingly bad and unathletic in the back end going back to 2019.

If they aren't a whole lot better and more athletic then Daniels and those young receivers will eat them alive.

Hold that thought. That guy is going to be great in Dabo's system. He played very well vs ND last year even though Clemson couldn't run the ball at all vs ND. It's Dabo's system. Sunshine has his work cutout for him now.

Clemson is going to need to upgrade on defense.

I think we'll fare pretty well. 14 point DAWG advantage.

Not really sure to be honest. Can our DB's be competent enough to stop their passing attack? Can our OL handle Breese and Murphy?

It should be a great game though. Just hoping we can pull off the win and shut them up.

You're not wrong. I'm afraid nepotism/daddy ball is creeping into our program. Guys like Nolan Turner and the Venables boys have no reason to be starting on a Power 5 team. We also have several players who would be playing at APP State if their dads weren't coaches for us. It's strange because we've had consecutive top 5 classes yet we continue to look slower and slower. It's because Dabo seems to favor his older guys over our younger more athletic ones.

I'm hoping the OSU game opened Dabo's eyes and we start putting our athletes on the field.

I'm getting the sense that it will come down to which QB can make more plays. Clemson's secondary is suspect, and Georgia lost a lot in their secondary. To my knowledge, neither team has elite wrs.
Both qbs are legit. Maybe running game will end up playing a big factor? Too close to call on this one.

Ehh, our secondary against their WRs and our OL against their DL worry me.
