I think Friend may be out in the next few weeks. Bedell probably slides over to OL. Find a new TE coach that has special teams coordinator experience.
Would be nice to add Trovon to the staff at some point but he needs to go in the next couple years and get some actual experience coaching somewhere and come back

Why? Bedell has always been Harsin’s OL coach and only moved to TEs to make room for the Bobo/Friend combo. I actually think Bidell can be a solid recruiter now that he’s been around a year. This was the class that friend Bobo and Mason were hired for. Now get your guys in and get the program and run it how you want.
I think Drew Bobo decommiting was kind of the writing on the wall that Friend would probably be gone.

Always, no. His last four years, yes. The Boise OL also regressed under him and really struggled the last two years. There were lots of calls for firing Bedell at Boise. He had a very experienced group in 19 and they were awful.
He has done fine with our TE's. He can stay there. We need a good OL coach hire if Friend is gone.

Yea tight ends looked better this year than they have in years. Bedell is fine there

Won't see any official word until Sunday afternoon. The staff is respecting his timeline. That being said practically everyone is assuming he's Auburn bound.
