Alabama has won six titles in the last 11 years...

Dominant.
But unhealthy for the sport. 14 of the last 15 national champions have hailed from the South, the vast majority of which were from the Southeastern Conference. Also unhealthy for the sport. Major college football is a $10 billion industry and one athletic conference has established a monopoly over it. This is part of the reason why I don't get as much enjoyment out of the sport anymore. It's essentially become regional due to how dominant the SEC has become. I'm probably going to get downvoted for this but I really want some form of parity in the sport. It's not nearly as fun winning national championships when only one other region of the country (the Mid-West) is actually playing on the same level you are.

He gets the #1 rated class almost every year, 9 out of the last 10.
So, shouldn't he win it all almost every year?

It will even out once Saban retires.

I don’t disagree, but what are we/SEC supposed to do? Stop caring? Cap the number of blue chip athletes allowed to sign at a school? Socialize football?
Meh.
Meh.

This.
It's the only thing that will even things out and will eventually happen. They made rule changes because of Bear, they are going to make rule changes because of Saban.

I really don't know what the answer is. Bottom line, you can't tell a kid where he has to go to get an education.

They will. Better believe its coming.

That would only create parity in the SEC, IMO. A 5* athlete isn't going to go sign with Kansas just because Alabama or Georgia is full.

The best talent resides in the southeast. The northern teams can't pillage the village as in days of yore. Ohio State is one of the few exceptions.

5-6 teams get the top recruits year in and year out:
-bama
-osu
-lsu
-uga
-okie
-clemson
You may be able to add these to the equation soon:
-aTm
-TX
-usc
-ND
-UM

No.
Other coaches should recruit better. If they cannot figure out how he is doing, it.....hire his coaches away and get them to do it.
It’s the greatest run in college football history. He’s figured it out.

the problem is college football is becoming a regional sport, a lot of schools and some conferences just are not trying to compete at the level of Alabama et al. Pac 12 is not getting the top recruits out of California anymore, B1G is essentially one team, same for the ACC

no offense intended but that's ridiculous. Nobody, not even the almighty ncaa, can determine where a kid will go to school, even if "student athlete" is a farce.
It is, though, only a matter of time till there is basically a minor league for the NFL.

Shut up. If you give some people an idea, in these days they'll do all they can to push it through.
