Youve sacrificed so much. They never could of done it if you hadn't selected them as your favorite team online.

6 out of 12. Still not too shabby!

Dominant.

But unhealthy for the sport. 14 of the last 15 national champions have hailed from the South, the vast majority of which were from the Southeastern Conference. Also unhealthy for the sport. Major college football is a $10 billion industry and one athletic conference has established a monopoly over it. This is part of the reason why I don't get as much enjoyment out of the sport anymore. It's essentially become regional due to how dominant the SEC has become. I'm probably going to get downvoted for this but I really want some form of parity in the sport. It's not nearly as fun winning national championships when only one other region of the country (the Mid-West) is actually playing on the same level you are.

Why the hell should I care how much money college football makes?

I never understand these arguments. I do not give a frick how much college football makes. Alabama played football every year when college football didn't make billions of dollars, and they'll keep on playing it even if they don't.

The biggest loss there might be not getting all games televised, and that's not going to happen in the near future.

The number of people across the country has nothing to do with my enjoyment of the sport.

Sounds like some of you are more invested in the drama than the sport of football itself. Last sport that fricked itself with that crap was Nascar.

I don’t disagree, but what are we/SEC supposed to do? Stop caring? Cap the number of blue chip athletes allowed to sign at a school? Socialize football?

Perfect solution:
Take the Vegas odds from the day before the game and spot (give) the other team those points, and start the game from there. If Alabama continues to kick the shite out of everyone, then Vegas will simply make adjustments.
*alternative options:
a) Alabama has only THREE downs to make a 1st down.
b) Alabama plays with only 10 men
c) Alabama plays with ankle weight.
I'm sure there are more ways to "even the playing
field"

Maybe if the rest of the country would care a little more, they could compete a little more. There's no reason why USC, Michigan, UCLA, etc shouldn't be competing with the rest of the country other than they aren't spending the money to really try. Fcuk'em.

Would you kindly STFU

Were people whining and crying about this when John Wooden and UCLA won 10 out of 12 titles? I think college basketball survived and is doing just fine.

Doesn't help that we just went through a fake season with no fans. ETA: Also, it's 6 titles in 12 seasons.

Capping 5* recruits is a socialist way of addressing another’s success. Want the games to be more exciting then bet on the games with a spread.

Karma has a way of balancing things out. Be prepared for 15 years of 8 win seasons after Saban retires.

If that were true then Bama wouldn't have the two best coaches in CFB history. Even in the post-Bryant pre-Saban dark period, Bama still had several 10 win seasons.

It is actually. 2009+11 = 2020. Someone born on January 7, 2009 would have turned 11 years old on January 7, 2020. It's 11 years and 12 seasons.
