“It’s not something I’ve thought about,” Mullen said Tuesday, per the Orlando Sentinel. “If it’s something as opportunities present themselves — like everything in the world — you take things as they come and you visit them and you reflect at where you are in your life. Very much like we have a lot of players that are deciding to move onto the NFL.

“With those guys it’s, ‘Hey, make sure you make great decisions, reflect upon what’s best for you and your life and your situation and where you’re at. You make a decision that’s best for you and your family in everything.’”

It would make sense for him - many coaches that actually "coach" are not a fan of recruiting, and having to kiss the arse of elite athletes

Mullen is a goofy guy. I could see players not liking him, but I can also seeing him becoming a player’s coach like Pete Carroll is for the Seahawks.

I don’t think NFL players would want his wife kissing them, though.

I hear his wife is all about it.

She's ready to be a NFL side piece.

If the FALCONS do this....

Probably hasn't gotten any calls from NFL and he's just making sure they know he's available... so he can leverage a raise for UF. Don't think he's a good fit for the NFL.

His system won’t work in the NFL.

Mullen isn't going anywhere for a while. He pulled this at State for years. He'd talk out of both sides of his mouth. He's not leaving.

Mullen may one day go to the NFL, but I sincerely doubt it. He thinks he's the best, and wants to be paid accordingly. So every year there will be this NFL talk until he leaves or is fired, so you might as well copy/paste any witty comments you have about it.

Honestly I’d be happy if he left. Not because I’m scared of him but he’s such a massive douche bag it would be enjoyable to not have him in the league any longer.
