If Saban coaches this game.....I don't want to hear a damn thing about Covid anymore

This is pure and utter garbage.
Herbstriet had to miss calling a game because he was near someone who tested positive.
Teams are cancelling games because the damn water boy is sick...
If one player is within " contact " on someone tested positive the entire team shuts down.
I have seen countless times where it makes no sense to stop " life ".... or even play a football game because of the absurd rules of covid...
But yet, Saban test POSITIVE a few days ago and we're finding a way for him to coach this game on the sidelines? Any other coach in the country like Dabo would be absolutely killed in the media for even suggesting it, let alone actually doing it.
This is another classic example of changing the rules and Alabama fans will stand by it... The SEC nut homers will stand by it also. A few of you in here will call it out just like I am and kudos to you for putting your SEC allegiance down and calling a spade a spade.

In fairness, you do understand there is such a thing as false positives, right? I mean, that appears to be the case with Saban. As far as I know, he has not been known to have come in contact with anyone with Covid or been exposed in any way. It was a precaution. If he coaches he will have had three straight tests done saying is is Covid free.

I have a different take. $atan does NOT coach tonight, and sets them up for their annual mulligan/do-over. No one runs a better campaign than the midget, aight.

Actually, this makes me question why we are testing 3 times a week for these athletes and coaches.
It’s not “science.” It’s fear.
In general, there is too much fear.

I agree. Something that should have brought our country together has been politicized and further divided us. It's a shame what is going on right now with both parties. It might bring success in the near term, but long term I think it will bring rise to a third party.

The Indianapolis Colts had four players test POSITIVE earlier this week and it was determined yesterday they were false POSITIVES. Should they not play tomorrow?
Idiot.

Truth be told, this whole thing is scam.

I for one don’t give a shite if he coaches or not.

Exactly. This thread is just stupid.
If you have 3 more negatives - it shows the original test was wrong.
Again. Dumb thread.

It’s not like they are just letting him show up and coach sick. If he does coach in this game it will be because he passed 3 test staggered 24hrs apart from each other.

This proves what I have been saying for 9 months.
Why are we even testing then? How many other false positives are there?
Only idiots or zealots actually believe that COVID is a pandemic.

What about the AD that tested positive and contact tracing. Players are out 2 weeks even if testing positive.

Good question. What about the AD? Was his a false positive? If not then that throws more of a cloud over the Saban tests positive or negative. The standards do appear to be different in this scenario than any we've seen this far. Why and why can't Bama fans get from under their shells and see it? I don't care if Saban coaches or not but the point is this situation is being handled differently than all others. That has to bring about questions.

Have you ever heard of false positives? A false positive means that the person didn’t have COVID. If Saban never had COVID, why wouldn’t he coach? The same rule requiring 3 straight days of negative tests after a positive test applies to EVERY coach in the SEC.

Easy enough... UAT will do anything to win.... precaution, common sense or rules be damned.... they want the W over anything else
