Everything he says is spot on. If Saban doesn't figure out a way to reinvent the defense over the next week, Georgia will go in dry.

We are built better to stop a Georgia like offense, not a Kiffin type offense. Anything out of the ordinary, our defense can't handle it. That's why Malzahns offense works better against our defense than others.
We must stress fundamentals so much, they don't prepare for "twists".
However, now, I'm not so sure we can even handle fundamentals

I don’t think our defense is built to stop any particular type of offense. Kiffin didn’t finesse us last night. He ran the ball straight up our b-hole last night quite a bit.

Yeah it’s not the good ole days. Our front is soft as hell. They’re not stopping uga

I think the offense will score enough to beat UGA. Maybe Saban himself will either coach up the defense as good as possible in a week or enlist the help of Strong because Golding is clueless

Saban is far from clueless.
Step into his shoes for a moment.
Options.
1. Fire Golding now and risk a huge turnover with someone new.
2. Light Goldings arse on fire with threats of being fired and it possibly ruining him.
3. Give guidance, plan to have him move on peacefully after the season and have the entire off season to set a new Def up.
There is no easy answer but there are logical answers.

It’s not that simple. Golding is running Saban’s scheme. Saban firing Golding would not just be an indictment of Golding, but an indictment on the core principles on which the defense operates. It would be like firing himself in a way.

W
Option 1 is the right choice, and I just don't see it being much of a risk. We know what Golding is, and it can't get much worse. The risk to me comes in not firing Golding right now and potentially wasting another all-time offensive season.
I think fire Golding, go with Strong, like right now. Even if it takes a few weeks to work things out well, and we drop a game against Georgia, by the end of the season we would have much more potential to make a run through the SEC Championship and the playoffs.

I don’t understand with all the talent we have we cannot get a pass rush it’s insane to me. It was almost like the d-line would just lock onto the offensive lineman and stand in place smh. We might need to start playing as many players as possible on defense just to see if we can get a better mix of players

Not that simple. I believe his payout with USF is 2M to not coach until it’s over.

We aren't built for shite. We have poor fundamentals and a lack of basic understanding of of how to line up and react. That is horrible coaching.

After last night's over 600-yard fiasco with almost 300 yards on the ground, I expect perception to change. We walked into a stadium and played a team that simply couldn't move the ball on the ground against anyone. The consensus going forward by the media, and fans will be that our defense is broken. Not young, not injured, just broken.

The guy who got fired at Oklahoma because his defenses couldn't tackle anyone or stop anyone?
Sure, we can replace cyanide with anthrax.

But he’s already on staff, George.

This is on the ENTIRE defensive staff. Stolen signals are a bullshite cop out excuse.
Stolen signals don't cause you to forget how to tackle or to give up on a play.
Last night our defense looked soft and played soft. I was begging then to put Shane Lee's slow arse in instead of Mosely or Allen. At least when he gets his hands on you you're going to the ground.
That was the worst display of fundamental defense since 2007.

Shane Lee doesn’t have the athleticism of Moses but he’ll give you 100% every play at least
