Will you still be happy with the Pittman hire? Or have your expectations shifted? I will still be happy with him unless we start to show some type of regression which I dont think will happen.
Full disclosure: I do not expect to go winless the rest of the way based on how we are playing right now

If we lose to Mizzou I'll strongly question things

I would be very happy. The only thing I really wanted this season was to not break the 23 game losing streak record. It's quite possible that we won't win another one but we have the hardest schedule in CFB history so it isn't a huge let down even if we don't.
We will beat Mizz though. I've had a feeling all offseason that we would slam the first nail in Jimbo's coffin this year too.

That for me.
Ps. I did fhe power rankings and put us 4th

We must go bowling for me to view it as a success in year one...
BTW the rules have changed for this year. 1 win gets you possibly in a bowl game

It's tough to say...it depends on how we look, but 8 straight losses would be a really hard pill to swallow.

Beat one of Ole Miss or Mizzou and I'll be "ok". Beat both landmass teams and Mizzou and we should all be happy.
I think we can get 4 though and have a shot against UT at home, Auburn or A&M. TBH.
4 wins with this schedule would be a massive success.

I don't think it would be a good indicator if we lose every game from here on out. If the team is in every game and fighting til the end you might be able to find a silver lining. I expect this team to stay competitive and win a couple more

5-5. Anything less is absolutely unacceptable.

It depends. Do we look inept on offense or defense or both? Are there a bunch of close games where we over play but lose? Or is everyone just out there going through the motions?

Actually predicted this before the season, because my fandom wouldn't let me do less...
But I also always think we can beat aTm, Mizzou, Ole Miss and Miss State.. because of fandom and we typically play them close.

I could see us beating State, Ole Miss, Mizzou, A&M and Tennessee. The first four are obvious and then I put Tennessee on there because they really haven’t beaten anyone of note during their win streak so my guess is they could potentially be overrated.

all joking aside... Land somewhere in the SEC besides 14 at the end of this season and i am good.
I believe we are on the right track. WPS!

it's impossible to go winless from here out and not show regression unless leach falls the frick apart at state and everyone else gets gud fast.
to answer directly though no. i'll be concerned and saddened cause above everything else pittman is a world class person.

Honest to god I think we give LSU a game. Hell we’ve always given them a game and now we finally have some coaching

Depends. There’s a couple of players that we absolutely can’t lose and have any expectation of winning. If the alpaca and pool go down I’d expect to lose the rest.
Also want to see how we finish this recruiting class. It’s a solid class but was hoping for more seeing how pittboss closed on the previous class.

This years weird man. I think it’s affected recruiting too

The covid situation has hurt recruiting in college football. It has hurt us more because of our reputation and without official visits on campus from recruits that normally wouldn't be interested unless they visited.

All I want to see is progress and players giving their best. I wasn't sure that we'd win a single game, so we're already ahead of my expectations.

If we beat Auburn we can lose out and I’d still vote Pittman coach of the year.
