Any of the OSU QB's would have excelled at UGA if named starting QB.
Excelled at running fake punts maybe
Smart is absolutely terrible at managing QBs no matter how Jawja fans wanna spin it

I forgot. If you disagree with anybody or present an opposing argument you are suddenly triggered. no room to disagree anymore.
quote:Who is talking about your predictions on QBs? I am attacking the narrative that your Head Coach is some kind of QB guru. All the fans saw that Trask was a better QB yet your QB guru could not see it.
For what it's worth: I am very good at predicting Quarterbacks. I predicted Trask was better than Franks in 2018
Come on. Straws. You're better than this. I clearly have been attacking your coaches reputation as a QB guru that Florida fans have been pumping since he got to your program.
I got on you for your take on Georgia football. Every year you come out with detailed reasons and explanations about why Florida is superior to georgia and will beat us in the WLOCP.
As for Mathis starting? Who knows? This whole thread was started on the basis of a tweet by some guy I have never heard about. I am not tweet friendly, so maybe he retweeted from a reliable source or was replaying to a reliable source. But until the season starts we don't know who is going to start for Georgia, but here everybody is jumping on this bandwagon.
All that said, and if Mathis does start, then I am okay with it if he is showing up the best and playing best.
Unlike your coach who continued to start and stick with an overmatched QB that continued to throw the ball up for grabs when pressured.
Y'all are lucky Franks got hurt. I am one who has said all along that Trask is a legit QB, and does a good job. With hm at QB Florida has a chance to beat Georgia. If Franks were still at Florida most of your fan base would be telling us all how Mulllen was going fix Franks and how much of a guru he is.

DawgsLife says he’s not triggered...then types an essay on how triggered he is

Yep looks like you are triggered to me.

How triggered I am?
1. I always write essays. (Been trying to become more concise, but it is what it is. It's who I am)
2. If you got that I was writing about being triggered then I would suggest you reread, or I need to reword.
3. Which part evokes anger? I am genuinely curious? Or are you a poster that just points and says "you're triggered! or "Melt!" because you don't have a logical argument to what was said?

It really hasn't. UF is in substantially better shape than anytime this last decade.
I agree 100%.

And you should be. Mullen definitely has you in a better place than you have been recently. I didn't mean to insinuate otherwise.

Nah, Shark humper got UF to two sec championship games...
That is undeniably a better place.

Will be interested to see how he uses this kid. A dual threat guy could really help that offense...

Mathis is an incredible story and no matter what, people should pull for him to succeed.

He runs the 100 yard dash in 10.4 I think. Has good speed and a very strong arm. I hope he succeeds.

What are the Dawgs offensive ppg going to be?
I’d guess somewhere around 27-30 ppg

I am a huge fan of the dual threat. It adds a dimension to the offense that is hard to scheme for.
If he is a true dual threat and can make good decisions he will be lethal with that talent around him

For those not familiar with him:
Dwan had to get brain surgery last year. Missed the entire season. He’s cleared for contact now.
I'm pulling for him!

find it odd that Georgia fans think they have depth at Quarterback. Let's roll back over it again?
Your format is a lot like the depth we had in 2017. But our starter got injured and a true freshman performed.
Or a lot like the depth that we had in 2018. Our starter didnt go down, but there was a very talented true freshman waiting in the wings.
For 2020, we dont have a starter named. But we have Daniels (described as the Lebron James of California by Mark Sanchez in reference to his phenom status coming up), Mathis (who has been wowing the staff for 2 camps with his physical abilities), and true freshman Beck (Mr Football for the state of Florida).
I dont think Dawg fans want or need your approval, Straws. 2020 already looks better than 2019 in terms of depth.

I appreciate the guess. I'd really like Straws to lay a prediction out here. Even with a 4 point spread like you did would be informative about his expectations (so we can know if Dawg fans are unreasonable in our expectations).

JT Daniels is pivotal for "depth", and he's struggling to get cleared two weeks
Struggling? How is he struggling?
That is a weird adjective to describe someone who is practicing just like every other QB.
That is a weird adjective to describe someone who has been medically checked and cleared to do 100% of the reps with other QBs. There is no rep count. No pitch count. No drill that the other QBs are doing where he goes and joins the trainers.
That is a weird adjective to describe someone who will not even be given a final check and announcement until just before Arkansas game.
The fascination with Daniels not being cleared is funny. It feels like fans expect him to be looked at by Ron Courson before and after every practice and is verbally declined to have contact going forward. Is that what Florida and LSU fans think is happening? How else could the word "struggle" apply? Help me on this.
