You are looking at the smaller picture, brother, that is your problem here.

The answer is a resounding yes.

61%, good start, but I guess he's just gonna have to kick their arse more before he retires.

Unless we look at the scoring differences and margins of victories, but I won't tell him if you don't.

How many national titles does he have? How many titles does Auburn have during this same period.

Ummmm considering we lost 6 in a row before him. Not to mention 5 titles he won I’d say yes

Winning more national championships over a 4 year stretch (2009-2012) than Auburn has won in their entire 120 year history is a pretty good start, IMO. However, he more than doubled their program total in less than a decade.

His 5 head to head losses have been by a combined 29 points. He won a national championship following one of those losses.

So, you tell me.

Yes I still hate Tommy Tubs and his thumb to this day. Had to hear fear the thumb all year. Dumbest Auburn shite ever.

As long as he wins more than he loses.

None of this equates to dominance over Auburn.

Doesn't compare to the dominance over LSU, that's for sure.

Toilet paper shelves have been a little more full since Saban took over.

Auburn has damn sure put up more of a challenge than any other SEC program in the last dozen years.

Bama just wishes they could dominate Auburn like LSU does.

2007 you can hardly count against him. Bama fans can correct me, but that team was either not back up to full strength or had just gotten back (from sanctions); so depth/experience were non-existent. Yet LSU still nearly lost to them, should've been apparent to everyone that Less was in way over his head but I digress

Y’all remember that time Auburn beat Alabama and the fat chick got stuck in the bushes storming the field?

Then Bama won the NC like 2 months later. That was fun.

Yes I still hate Tommy Tubs and his thumb to this day.

I don't.... just doing his job... I hate the idiots that thought it was OK to flaunt the rules of the sport and put UA in the predicament we were in... I don't blame Shula, he was an excellent ambassador of the university, but he was in over his head. Those are some of the reasons Mal had to dismiss Mike, and go after Nick. After what has happened since 2007, I'll live with it.

I haven't seen sustained dominance from any team like this since the days of Bear. The only thing close for me was Gene, or the short lived time of the U under Jimmy.. maybe Nebraska's time with Osborne but it wasn't always sustained...

Youngsters, you are witnessing sports history.

Of course it does. Auburn has gone through 3 coaches since Saban arrived. Bama bookended Auburn's first national championship since 1958 with two of our own. Of the 8 times we've beaten them, only one of them has been by less than two scores - and we won the national championship that year. Some of those scores:

36-0
42-14
49-0
30-12
52-21

That's a blood letting for any head to head series, much less a rivalry.

Eh, he should be 9-5 after this season. Would be much better without a few miracle plays AU seems to pull out of their arse in Jordan Hare. That place is a voodoo vortex. Even still, winning record, out recruits them every single year and has won 5 natties. We’ll take it!

Bammers continue to bring up national championships for some reason.

That doesn't equate to "dominance" head to head vs Auburn.

At the end of the day, you're 8-5.
