Domestic issues are almost always state and local government issues. And that is also the case here.

It wasn't Trump who shut down my local businesses, it wasn't Trump who opened them back up recently. None of that was Trump.

So why the hell do people keep bringing him up anytime someone doesn't go along with the "oh it's such a big major huge fricking deal" agenda?

I mean, FEMA was quite literally swooping in to outbid Governors trying to acquire the appropriate testing and PPE for their states. And then attempted to seize out of country shipments where some had to go out of country to acquire what they needed.

If you're going to put it on the state and local governments alone to acquire tests, PPE, etc. then let them do what they need to do without interference.

Plenty of doctors think he is full of shite, my doctor being one of them. People are acting like this is equivalent to the Black Death. It's not even close. The vast majority of people that get this disease will be perfectly fine in 10-14 days.

When did the US become a nation of chicken little's?

Money.

You can call it what you want but if player safety is jeopardized there won’t be college football this fall.

Bama’s AD isn’t a healthcare professional.

Complete nonsense. The players can be tested weekly daily or monthly. Not fiddling around on game day. This is a virus with a 99.835% recovery rate. It is the flu or less. Quit treating it as if it is something different.

We have at least two and perhaps four effective treatments now. There will be a vaccine by fall..according to Pfizer...

Protect the vulnerable and move on.

The issue was never the disease. It was its ability to overload our healthcare system if we took no preventative measures.

We've mostly flattened the curve, and it's about time to start opening back up. But continuing with large events like concerts and football games before we have a vaccine are too much of a risk to negate completely the work we've done the past month-and-a-half and send us back into quarantine

Yes, "insiders" who are qualified to hold their positions bad, unqualified "outsiders" good

No shite. Not just the AD and the University but the entire economy of these towns depend on football season. Many bars, restaurants, hotels etc just stay afloat till the fall when their earnings season is.

Players get the flu all the time. Covid doesnt kill healthy 20 year olds. The virus also doesnt even spread outside. The sun kills it and heat/humidity reduce the spread. They are far more likely to get it in a classroom...and even then its not deadly.

The virus was here for maybe 3 full months spreading to a population with ZERO immunity and hospitals were not overwhelmed

...because we took measures to prevent that happening

Do you think it would have been the same story if everything was open and normal?

Do you believe everything the "insiders" tell you? I question most everything someone tells me, especially if the "insider" is involved creating the problem in the first place. Look up Fauci's involvement with the Wuhan lab. That is the "insider" you trust?

Call him a sheep next, Jimbo!

I love you fake “woke” people who have to talk about the conspiracy behind everything. Must be exhausting.

There were no measures taken until mid March. The virus was here in December

It's not a conspiracy. Fauci is involved with the Wuhan lab, that is a fact. I'm not claiming anyone released the virus on purpose. Just don't usually trust the people that caused the problem to also deal with the problem. Just my thought on the subject, you can trust anyone your little heart desires.

Politicians and snake oil salesman (redundant) love you people that believe everything you are told by an "insider".
