But thankfully much more intelligent than an ignorant arse like you. You can thank him for helping to prevent this from being far worse than it is.

I knew with 100% certainty the word 'sheep' was coming in your next retarded post! I could write a Cshaw91 quote generator in about 3 minutes which would encompass the entire spectrum of your barely-functioning brain.

This thread is getting flooded by the poliboard folks. Rational discourse has already been dumped by the curb.

He was appointed by Ronald Reagan during his first term in office.

That's the real sign of how messed up we are. Here's a guy who's served under every Democrat and Republican administration for about 40 years, is the leading expert in his field, and now dudes on the internet think they know more than the guy.

And to put another layer of psycho on it, they think he was put in to be the puppet of a 29 year old software developer who was just starting to become famous.

Like I said, we live in a nation with the dumbest people ever.

Dr. Anthony Fauci told Peter King of NBC’s Football Morning in America that widespread testing of players would be the first step and you should only use the test developed by the company owned by my good friend Bill Gates

Fixed it. Trump needs to tell Fauci to refrain from any and all public statements until this is over. And then fire him.

This

Does not equal this
quote:

is the leading expert in his field,

Generally government is where people who are good at politics end up, not where the most competent people end up

Also it isnt just internet dudes who disagree with Fauci. There are other experts out there who disagree with Fauci

Fauci has earned many of the most prestigious awards available to a person in his field, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the National Medal of Science and the Mary Woodard Lasker Award for Public Service. In 2019, he was among the inaugural class inducted into the Government Hall of Fame.

Fauci also has been awarded 45 honorary doctoral degrees from universities around the world and is a member of such organizations as the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Philosophical Society.

Should I keep going or are we really going to argue that this guy isn't a leading expert in his field.

Is his field public policy?

Was I talking about Policy making or him being a leader in his field?

Seems like you were using him as being a "leader in his field" to justify his remarks and suggestions for public policy.

I would prefer our policy makers to listen to the scientific experts since we can probably agree that the majority of policy makers know very little about infectious diseases.

Is public policy not informed by evidence in relevant fields?

I never brought up policy making. I was simply responding to the users trying to make arguments that is not a leader in his field

I would think most people would consider a policy maker to be a fool if they did not heed the advice of the experts in their respective fields.

I don't think anyone thinks they are smarter than him. We just know his motives are f'd up for whatever reason and he's full of shite.

Like when I take my car to the mechanic for an oil change and he comes up with $1500 worth of work my car needs. Obviously he's much smarter than when it comes to cars but he can still be full of shite because he has a motive to be and I can see right through him and tell him to pound sand. Which is exactly what reasonable people need to be doing to Fauci 6 weeks ago.
