After watching that HBO documentary, it’s blatantly obvious Wade is a trash human and flagrantly violating NCAA rules...and LSU doesn’t give a single solitary frick. They’ve given the NCAA the finger and revealed that if you don’t play along they are more or less powerless. Props.
Also, the FBI invented new and innovative ways to frick that up. What an incredible display of incompetence.

I understand it’s pervasive in the sport, but still a bit shocking when you actually hear a major D1 coach refer to prospects as things, items to be bought.

Unfortunately that's part of being a college basketball coach. Players are commodities and coaches are competing with other schools doing the same thing. The whole system is screwed up. That doesn't make him a bad person or that he doesn't care about his players.

You mean like salaries, signing bonuses, endorsement contracts, benefits packages, etc.?
Shocking that there would be a quantitative price attached to ones's abilities and performance. We have to eliminate this entirely.

Both schools are.
I don’t get it.
Geography maybe?
I have multiple friends who are LSU grads—we’re respectful to and look out for each other and our families.
The hate/stereotype thing on this website is lame.
But I’m learning that it’s the young kids and non-degree holding folks who seem to stir the pot.
