The rumor coming out of UAB is that there has been two likely cases there for a few days, just waiting on confirmation.

There's also a likely case in Cullman, but they apparently can't get a testing kit. Or that was what was reported yesterday around lunchtime.

I don't think there's really any question that it's in Alabama. It's just a matter of how extensive is it.

Ill make sure to keep one over my mouth and nose as I breathe. Problem solved.

It is actually a different strand of coronavirus. It is basically a common cold, but with a different strand.
For the downvoter...

I think Alabama was the last state to confirm a coronavirus case

As of last night, I think there were 3 states without a confirmed case. Alabama, West Virginia, and either Montana or one of the Dakotas, forget which.
I haven't seen any update this morning.

Unfortunately, you can hardly find them.
Also, when Lysol and Clorox products say they kill coronavirus, they aren't specifically referring to COVID-19. I'm sure they kill COVID-19, as well, but there are other types of coronavirus that existed before COVID-19 which is what the label is referring to.

According to the live map from Johns Hopkins: Alabama, Idaho, West Virginia and Maine are the only four states left with no confirmed cases.

My dog was vaccinated from Coronavirus two days ago.

There's a rumor that a doctor in Huntsville may have it.
Huntsville is a very international travel-heavy city given NASA and Redstone Arsenal.
Most likely several people in Alabama have it, we (or they) don't know it yet.

Spoiler alert: there are probably tons of cases in Alabama, we just haven’t been testing enough people.

My wife was at doctor’s appt. today and he told her there were folks that probably have it at the office (which is a quite large one in a large Birmingham hospital), now - but they have no testing material.
He told her, and I’m paraphrasing: “Look, we are probably all gonna get it. If your healthy, you should be ok, but it will hurt quite a bit of the elderly and those with reduced immune systems (cancer patients, those on certain medicines, etc.).”

We've barely been testing people at all because the kits aren't easily accessible and the criterion to actually do the test is stringent.
