Gonna be in Mountain Brook tomorrow for my son's soccer tournament and I want to hit up a good craft beer store while I'm there.

Who do y'all recommend?

Big fan of either Miller Lite (all day beer) or Bud Lite Platinum (PM beer, pace yourself). Try R&R Wine and Liquor or ABC SELECT SPIRITS in Mountain Brook to find either of these fine spirits.

Hop City, hands down.

I'm pretty partial to Beer Hog in Pelham myself.

I know you’re asking about Birmingham but Loosa Brews in Tuscaloosa is one of the best I’ve seen.

I’m a big craft beer fend but we don’t have craft beer stores in Little Rock. But a great craft beer scene. Still wished we had stores that carried craft beers from other states.

I just looked up Hop City. That may be the winner.

I am 80 miles from Trim Tab Brewery and there is one store in Montgomery that sometimes gets their special stuff. It's ridiculous.

You might as well check out Trim Tab being that close. I'm a big fan of them as well.

No idea about purchasing locations, but the guys who started Cahaba Brewing Company are fraternity brothers of mine. Apparently they brew a fine product, but I don't personally know. I understand that it's quite popular, though.

I have two favorite Alabama breweries, being from out of state now.

Really enjoy their Coffee Oatmeal Stout, and the fact you can find their beers easy enough in several stores.

Been in their taproom across from Regions Field a time or two as well.

While you are in town, I'd stop by Avondale and Trim Tab as well.

To purchase? Hop City.

They can get it cold for you in just a few minutes too.

If you’re looking for a store and not a brewery then Hop City is definitely it.

Hop City, hands down. There are a few places in the 'ham where you can find the occasional gem. Believe it or not, most Piggly Wiggly's generally have a decent selection.

As an aside, my wife and I had our reception at Good People and I frequent it. Fun place.

I'm guessing your son is playing in the Red Diamond Classic?

My daughter plays next weekend when the girls play.

Yep. Trim Tab releases a new, small batch beer almost every week that is usually only available at the brewery, and it's only a couple of blocks from Hop City. I think this week's was an imperial sour - banana painkiller or something like that.

If you're a Hazy IPA fan, definitely get a 4 pack or two of their Theory Of Abundance. They released it a month or so ago, and it has started showing up at local stores, including Publix. It's one of the best ones they've done.

No.

Battle of the Brook.

He's the goalie for Prattville High School.
