We're pinning our hopes on a scrub from Wake Forrest!? Has it come to this?!

I'm excited about our options. Beck, Matthis and even Bennett will all get a shot. Throw in a grad transfer and somebody will emerge as a good candidate. It won't be smooth, but it will be better than 2015 IMO.

No player was ever the focus of more debate in UGA history, but through it all, all this man did was win games and put us in championship position every season he started.
He led a comeback drive for the ages in the Rose Bowl, went 3-0 against Florida, 3-1 against Auburn and 3-0 against Tech and never made one game-losing mistake.
Was he perfect? No, but Jake is a DGD

Newman would be a nice placeholder until the freshman are ready. He’s a junior who ran for 500 yards and passed for close to 3k. He’s got some dual threat ability and he’s tough. I’d take him in a heartbeat.
