Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa underwent successful surgery on his hip in Houston on Monday, and the junior’s “prognosis is excellent” and is expected to make a full recovery.
Twenty-four hours after their son’s surgery, Tagovailoa’s parents, Galu and Diane, released a statement thanking the Crimson Tide football program and its fans for their support.
“We would like to thank all of the Alabama family and everyone across the world for the prayers and outpouring of love and support for our son and our family,” the Tagovailoas said. “We felt the unceasing prayer, and words can’t express how overwhelming and uplifting that has been for us. We have total faith in God’s plan for Tua, and we know his plan is never wrong. God’s grace, mercy, love and faithfulness in our lives has never been more evident, despite this setback.
“The care and support Tua and our family has received is nothing short of amazing, and we can’t express our appreciation enough for Dr. Cain, Jeff Allen, Coach Saban, Tua’s teammates, the Alabama Athletics department, our pastors and all of the doctors and nurses that have done such an outstanding job of taking care of Tua. God Bless and Roll Tide!”

Well of course they are going to say that.

Cause they don't want Saban to pull that scholly from Tulia. They know how things work there.

Why wouldn't they feel that way? Bama is paying for it...no need to bite the hand feeding you

I read that last night and was so happy to hear about the good news on Tua!
I am sure Tua is getting the best care ever and the amount of prayers has certainly help.
His parents have always loved the UofA and Coach Saban. I am glad they came out with a statement in support of him. Some will never hear the message due to their deranged hatred of Coach Saban.
Tua is expected to be at the game on Saturday, can't wait to see him!

Saban told him, “I’m the root of all that’s evil, yeah, but you can call me cookie.”

You know the kind of feedback you’re going to get on here with this Crisper. Just my humble opinion but you should keep this in the family.

If you read the message slowly while recording it, then play it backwards, you'll hear him telling Saban where to wire the funds and what color the Mercedes should have.

I think it is more reasonable than that.
Bama has been good to Tua and family and they have been good to Bama. I see no reason to have ever expected anything else.
No one needs to be angry at anyone here. Alabama has been a positive experience for them and this is just a shitty outcome of playing a violent sport. He will recover and do well and have positive feelings / thoughts about his college of choice. Expected.

What did you expect them to say?
"Saban is a selfish prick, why was he playing Tua with a 35-7 lead knowing he was battling an injury already? He's now possibly cost our son not only an NFL career, but life changing money, all because he felt he needed work on a 2 minute offense. He's such an a-hole"

Well written statement by Tua’s agent. Smart move with the other son being a Freshman on the team.

I read all of those posts again. Not seeing anyone salty or butthurt. Guess it’s Bama fans way of dealing with all of the losses in 2019. Whatever gets you through the day there, Crispy.
