Due to Tua’s injury, and then Alabama & LSU both win out. Assuming LSU is the #1 team in the country, Alabama will likely make it into the playoffs, and we’ll likely see a repeat of 2011.

Tiger fans, would you rather lose in November and miss the playoffs, or win in November, and then get embarrassed in an NC rematch game again?

Just FYI, If your scenario plays out, they will pair us up in the first game to avoid 2 SEC teams in the NC, they basically said this after the UA/UGA game

Losing in the semis would hurt even worse, because then your whole season would be forgotten

I choose option 3 where we beat the dog crap out of you twice.

But to answer your illegitimate question legitimately, of course you want to win in November even if you lose in the playoffs. Would you want Bama to not play in the title game again if you knew you were going to lose to the other team 44-16? Do you think any LSU fans wish we had not gotten the chance to play for a national title in 2011 given the outcome? Maybe some prideful, non-intelligent people would. 2011 was a hell of a year and ended better than all but 3 years in LSUs history. And I wouldn't trade that for anything.

Now for the response you wanted: Hur-dur we gonna whoop the Tyde and Satan (still can't believe some LSU fans still and actually ever refer to him as Satan). Bama sucks. 44-16. Tua is only good bc of his receivers. Go back to bed with your sister/wife....satisfied?

If LSU, OSU, Clemson and Oklahoma win out. Bama isn't making the playoffs. OSU doesn't even have to win out, they could lose to Wisconsin and win the conference title and still get in. No room for Bama. Clemson and Oklahoma have the easiest paths to the playoffs which only leaves 2 spots. Just no room for Bama at all in your scenario.

I didn’t say you would win, I just said your scenario would not play out like you suggested. This year’s LSU team would beat Bama 9/10 games

Lol, UA won’t make the playoffs!

Is Clemson losing?
Is Oklahoma losing?
Is Ohio state losing?

Won’t make the playoffs with losses to LSU and AU

Its sad that Bama has been given so many second chances that their fans just assume they deserve in regardless.

Given our schedules if LSU loses to Bama, we could possibly backdoor our way in to CFP.

With Bama's shite schedule, they have to win out.

No, the committee takes injuries to key players into consideration. If Tua is unable to finish the game (the only way LSU has a chance), the committee, and the media will understand. We’ll be the first one-loss team in

It’s not really the playoffs without Bama. Everyone understands that. Bama is simply the best cfb program with the best coach. We deserve to get in every single year unless we have more than 1 loss.

I am honestly terrified we will meet Bama in the playoffs again either way. No fricking way we beat yall twice and very slim chance we beat y’all after losing in November.

Hope I’m wrong but this very idea of meeting y’all again in the playoffs has kept me from even looking forward to the game in November.

Sigh.

Can we stop with all this nonsense with the alters and accounts getting dusted off?

Thanks for being honest. I wish more LSU fans would open up like this

If Bama loses to LSU and wins out their best win is Auburn, second best being duke or fagy. If they get in with that resume that would be an absolute crime.

Depends on the loss. Depending on what Auburn does, if you don’t beat LSU y’all may not have ranked win on your schedule. Ohio State would have a stronger resume and conference championship.

Depending on how/where the loss is- Ohio State with 1 loss gets in over 1 loss Alabama.

I'd like to nominate miss uofa for the Skin-So-Soft Excuse of the Week. Pretty agressive to come out grasping this hard for a game still two weeks out. Keep an eye on this young lady for the rest of the season.
