It would be a three way tie then. How would that be worked out.
We own the head to head over both of them. We still win the west

I’ll be honest, the rest of the season is gravy. This isn’t supposed to be our year. NO one would have ever predicted us to win the west. I’m pumped! But I think UGA pays us back for 2019. The funny thing is that UGA team was supposed to be there. We gonna be happy just to play the game. Though I do remember that year where a bunch of orange roses were thrown to the ground after a count chickens before they hatch tenn team lost to a 3 loss sec champ lsu team. So never say never

Bro those threes were from the bleachers. Tip your hat. Hunter was ice

I don't know how anyone could watch our safety play this year and not think it would be a good idea to load up on safeties. Give me all 4. Sage gonna play nickle anyways. Give me the two next year as well.

We can make any excuse in the book but it doesn't by one iota take away from what the state offense and defense did in that game.
KJ threw to some wide open guys sometimes, but other times was dropping some absolute dimes. The pick 6 was a bad throw but the other one was a great play by a true fresh defender. This dude is good and is in the perfect system. Also the perfect system for your wide receivers. You don't have a "stud" go to wr IMO. But they are clearly smart and well disciplined. Maybe 1 or 2 drops all game? And Kylin Hill in space is not anything any team wants to go against and he will be doing it all year.
One thing not really talked about was you D-coordinator. He had an awesome gameplan, took away the run and positioned guys into throwing lanes all day. Also at times your DBs just made some good plays. You will get beat on big plays a bit bc u just don't have the dudes to compete with some of the top end WRs in this league but if you tackle and stay in position like you did in this game they will be a surprising adequate D.
I was as impressed by state as I was dissappointed in the TIgers. Can only hope we take it, win the next two and look like a different team vs Florida.

I didn't think IRL people of semi-intelligence would have this take...at the very least this was a terrible accident. What if it happened to someone you know and some jackass told you this? C'mon man.

Awesome job brotha. My wife painted the LSU field and the baseball diamond on the floor of my dads new “man cave” a couple of years ago.
Incidentally I live in Waco, TX as well now. We should get together sometime and cheer on our tigers!

I consider them one lol. There is no real split when traveling down hwy 6. But I’ve spent far more time in CS than Bryan I’ll give you that. Have to stay there a few times a year covering a job in Hearne. And we all know I’m not staying in Hearne lol

I’ve been almost everywhere and the only place I didnt enjoy was Gainesville. I think I hyped it up too much. It was also the Jarrett Lee pickapalooza year so that had part to do with it.
UGA by far the best campus and setup.
Ms St has some awesome fans and Starkville has only gotten better over the last 20 years.
Alabama has some of the best older fans you will meet anywhere and bbq nachos are legit. Campus is nice too.
Ole miss is so unique. The grove is pretty, but you would think 80-90% Greek or whatever they are, they would be better partiers.
Auburn is a really beautiful campus too. Haven’t been since 06 so really need to get back there.
So Car is in a really cool historic city. We got batteries thrown at us during the game and they did the gator chomp at us (shortly after the Florida loss) and I remember thinking, when is the last time Carolina beat Florida lol. Really liked the lighting in the stadium.
aTm I have so many friends there and everyone is so friendly. Their traditions are cool, I don’t care if other people think it colt like. They are forever optimists lol. But Bryan college station is like Starkville in that its really come up in the last 10 years and only getting better.
Edit bc I left out Arky. Fayetteville is gorgeous. I’m so happy we are playing our games there again bc Little Rock is the absolute worst. WORST!
Haven’t been to tenn, vandy, Kentucky, Missouri

crazy that they only leave the state of florida 3 times all season.

Y’all should use it to schedule a home and home with Hawaii! I really wish LSU would do this. Or a two for 1. Just as long as the return trip happened lol

Thanks very much for putting this together!
Idk about others who make it a point to travel, but when I lived in BR and went to away games, I made it a point to try and sit in the home team sections. I liked being in the thick of it. Now that I live in Waco and only make one or two home games a year, when I travel to opposing venues, I sit with Tiger fans. I will say this...it was sweet sitting in an Alabama section last year

re: Why was LSU football so bad in the '90s?
Posted by jbrau22 on 5/5/20 at 9:18 am
To this day I can't stand Brett Favre bc he made Curly Hallman (aka the worst D1 coach in history) look like an acceptable candidate. He went 23-11 at Southern Miss riding the arm of Brett Favre beating teams like Florida St and, most importantly to LSU at the time, Alabama (something LSU wasn't doing at the time). He was the worst. The kicker and this will just make you laugh...Southern Miss came to Death Valley Hallman's last season and beat us. He was fired 2 days later.

The length of this thread is ridiculous.
I agree. Good troll thread if that was the point. Fact still remains...the favorites in each division are georgia and alabama. bc they are until they aren't. The challengers are aTm, Auburn, and LSU in the west and Florida in the east. Simple, elegant, done.
Also to whomever thinks LSU falls off the horse this year and wins less than 8 games must be partying since it's 1999...bc that's the last time LSU has failed to win at least 8 games. I myself predict a 10-2 reg season with a good chance to return to the playoffs in 2021.

I'm an LSU fan and I'm also questioning how you figure Oline will be an upgrade. If (big IF) rosenthal comes back with his head on straight, I'll give you the tackles will be equal to/greater than 2019. Ingram will lock down one guard spot and be as good as if not better. But the other guard spot and most especially center are very much up in the air.
