I remember Jeff Brohm being a really hot name on here in the past. He’s 2-5 and I just saw a graphic where he is making 6.6M this year...imagine lol

We get a non-Mizzou guy and he sucks and the AD fires him but we still have to pay him.

Or he does well and moves onto a bigger program (this is what I expected to happen if somehow Tom Herman would have come here)

I mean, where Mizzou is at is exactly where our expectations should be at.

take the blame. As a leader on the team I apologize for not getting everyone to have that right mindset

Is there a locker room issue?
Did the team find out that our appeal has been lost and the rest of us find out in a couple weeks?

I don’t buy that we get that kind of peformance without some kind of “your dog got shot” news.

Interesting thread on the Rant on how long do you hold onto your Head Coach. LINK

JesusQ Stirk knows a guy who would die to have the Mizzou job, his name is Josh Heupel.

Heupel sucks and would get torn to shreds in the SEC. Chad Morris 2.0

He’ll never get a SEC job though so no use worrying about it.

Huepel should stay at UCF as long as possible. That’s a job that should be easy to get to 10 wins per season. The odds of getting into the playoff from UCF are about the same as they are for Mizzou.

This...this would make sense.

The only other thing making much sense is the flu rushing through the whole team.

I hope you are wrong. If you are not, it's time to disband the sham that is the NCAA.

The one thing Mizzou has been good at since the protests is stability of the program. Players didn't transfer and recruiting stayed about the same even with the sanctions. Now, imagine if we get into firing coaches because they aren't winning more than 9 games.

A lot of SEC schools would take 8 or 9 win coaches.

We will, too.
But you don’t have to beat anyone to get to 8 wins.

We could’ve had 8 wins this year with the following wins:
Arkansas
Vandy
Ole Miss
Wyoming
SEMO
Troy
WVU
Tennessee

There’s nothing there that says “what a year!!”

8 wins vs this schedule is treading water at best.

It’s not even firing a guy, but once an already lukewarm fanbase turns even lukewarmer it makes the job that much more difficult.

I get it, don’t lose to Vanderbilt and you’ll get something approaching a bare minimum amount of support.

It’s tough. Very little margin for error in so many aspects of this program.

I can see what you're saying, but I think this has to do with we're just a $hitty road team because our coaches cant get us ready.

You are full of it again as usual. Are you on Odom’s payroll? You often come back with weak cliches that don’t really prove anything. Odom should be unbeaten at 7-0 with this garbage schedule, and with all the talent returning on offense. Yet, he has found a way to blow 2 games against awful teams.

The protests were in 2015. I, and probably many others have long forgotten about it until people like you keep trying to use it as a crutch to prop up Odom. Improving from 5 wins his first year to 7 wins last year isn’t saying much since everyone but you knows how lousy the East is and has been for years.

3 plus years is enough time to get a solid read on a coach and how he will likely perform in the future. At least Pinkel found a way to beat a top 10 ranked Nebraska team his 3rd year. And he inherited a lot less talent than Odom has.

If you actually payed attention, I was fairly patient when many here were already calling for Odom’s head after more head scratching losses in 2017 and 2018. But here we are yet again trying to figure out how this team bungled their way to a loss to a 1-5 team. And we’ll be right back here in the same spot again next year lamenting another 7-5 season with the same coaching staff.

8 wins with this schedule is treading water in the kiddie pool, and we've already been kicked in the nuts by two of the other toddlers.

I'm going to be at my farm in Oklahoma for Thanksgiving. I was looking at going to the Arkansas game for the hell of it. $80 a ticket to watch this team in Fayetteville through the TSF? Not sure if I want to do that or not.
