What would you have said?

Personally, I would have said you're a f_k1ng idiot.

But here we are!

Through 3 weeks, LSU is #1 offense based on Scoring, Passing, First downs, 3rd-down conversions, and Redzone Offense... and our QB is ranked 3rd in HEISMAN odds. WTF!

...in before "but, but some shite! or some other shite!"

They aren't in total yards or yards per play.

Total Yards Per Game
1. Georgia (565.3)
2. Alabama (562.0)
3. LSU (551.7)

Yards Per Play
1. Georgia (8.74)
2. Alabama (8.14)
3. LSU (7.96)

They are current #1 in scoring offense

Scoring Offense
1. LSU (55.0)
2. Alabama (50.3)
3. Georgia (49.3)

Is that supposed to mean LSU’s schedule is lighter than other teams in the SEC through 3 weeks of play?

Everyone knows that not to be true.

Not implying that at all, but to suggest you have played anyone with much of a pulse on defense would be overstating the facts as to your offensive output. Two more weeks of breaks, then your schedule will tell if this is sustainable, that's all I'm saying.

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised about any statistical category after 3 games. If you were to be talking about the end of the year, then yes, I will still be surprised if LSU is the #1 offense.

Georgia Southern, Texas and Northwestern State aren't very good at defense.

Oh wait, I'm still saying that.

LSU has been playing football for 100+ years and for the last 2 decades the schedule has had creampuffs to start the season. This offense is doing things that have never been done in the history of LSU college football.

LSU does have the best victory on the country right now as well.

Is the question what would I have said if someone told me LSU would be the #1 offense in the SEC after their first 3 games?

I would have said something like, I could see that.

Or is the question what would I have said if someone told me LSU would be the #1 offense in the SEC for the 2019 season?

I would have said (and still would say) I would be very surprised. The annual offensive cluster frick against Alabama alone usually torpedoes their chances statistically.
