I was told about JTT via a DM on Saturday, not rsfields' Monday message board post. I won't identify who told me, nor will I share anything else I'm told privately. I very rarely have anyway, and you two have just reminded me why.

There is a difference in what someone "believes" and what someone knows.

Maybe he was like me and didn’t just want to come out and say it definitely. People bring info here and then get criticized. It’s bullshite

It's a form of emotional ptsd. And I'm not making fun of it or anyone. It happens when someone consistently get their hopes up and then feel like they were lied to. Leads to trust issues with everyone, which is what you are getting. It happens more commonly in controlling relationships, but it is the same groundwork when dealing with a team (person) they love, relying on what someone says (here another fan, there a SO), then getting let down when what they believed would happen doesn't happen.

If they don't trust you, you can't let them down. If they tell others not to trust you, you can't let others down. Keeping it to yourself or a close trusted group is probably the best thing if you don't want to deal with the small number who challenge and dispute. There are a ton more who honestly appreciate the info and understand that you are just telling what you heard and not making promises.

Chiropractic treatment can remedy that. But from my experience, MDs won't admit that chiropractic treatment is effective, let alone recommend it.

Seriously? People are going nuts over a pinched nerve?! Worst-case scenario he misses spring training. Best case he's back next week.

Nerve(s) being pinched by misaligned vertebrae can be resolved in 4-8 weeks with chiropractic treatment to realign the spinal column. Been there done that. Every other day adjustment at first, gradually tapering off. Initially, they tend to shift back out of alignment; gradually muscle memory adjusts to keep them properly aligned. Otherwise, the problem can persist indefinitely.

This is what I was thinking. If it’s not disc/sciatic related, it could be something along the thoracic spine which would definitely affect you in the typical motions of passing/shooting. You can usually mitigate these with some rehab and rest but if you’re active, inflammation can become a real bitch to deal with because nerve pain is extremely difficult to block out
