Why not contribute all of that money back into your athletic program instead of just football?

Auburn has been to the Final 4, reached Omaha, won a National Championship in Equestrian, gotten into the top-4 in Golf and the Top-8 in Gymnastics in 2019.

Why boast so much, for nothing?

Saban can only take you so far. I am beginning to feel sorry for that man.

First time ever. Alabama fired their coach.

reached Omaha

First time since 1997, went 2-2 against Alabama.

won a National Championship in Equestrian

LOL

Alabama has national championships in both men's and women's golf in the last seven years; injury's and early departures hurt Alabama this year.

Won't argue this. Alabama gymnastics needs a new coach.

They used to put a emphasis on baseball and making it to Omaha. Until LSU took their manhood away from them in the natty in 97. They haven't been the same since. I was lovin every minute of it. Geaux tigers.

National Championships last 10 years:

Alabama - 11 in 5 sports
AU - 2 in 2 sports

Alabama 2018-2019 national finishes:

#2 in Football - SEC Championship
#3 in Softball - SEC Championship
Women's Indoor Track - #7
Women's Outdoor Track - #7
Men's Swimming & Diving - #7
Men's Outdoor Track - #10
Gymnastics - #12 In an off year. Usually finishes top 4.
Men's and Women's golf had an off year, but normally top 10

Meanwhile Auburn is a literal dump, slashing 10% of their athletics budget, and can't even come together for a football only building.

Meanwhile Alabama is about to drop nearly 3 quarters of $1 BILLIONon athletic facilities across all sports.

Meantime AU is frantically looking for ways to cut nickles and dimes from their budget while Alabama goes on a kajillion dollar remake of Bryant Denny. And will mostly pay as they go. LOL!

Because that's all that matters in the end. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't really like pretending to care about the other sports in our athletic department.

Auburn would get rid of every other athletic program if it meant their football program could be Alabama for 10 years

You just tried to boast but you said equestrian LMBO at you allbarn inbred. Get your arse back in the cow pasture.

Bama has won numerous national titles in numerous sports recently too.

Bama has a strong athletic department but definitely needs to upgrade in several sports.

This has to be a joke. Auburn is pinching pennies, the new AD just cut 10% across ALL sports programs. Including basketball where Bruce took them to their first final four AND in baseball where Butch to them to the CWS AND equestrian who won a championship. WTF? What a shitty way to treat 3 successful coaches.

Yet they have a highly over paid football staff that hasn’t been able to turn in a season with less than 4-5 losses for the last 5 yrs despite all the talent they bring in.

Pinch pennies, transport your athletes on a bus when your main rivals are using a jet. House your athletes in discount hotels while your rivals are staying in top hotels, and keep putting those much needed facility improvements on the back burner and see how much further AU recruiting slides. While UA/LSU/aTm surpass you in the West.
