The ten commandments are certainly considered to be sin by God, and God hates all sin. All people are separated from God by sin. Christians just believe that God sent his son to make it possible to be saved from eternal separation (Hell). But the Bible is clear that God hates sin and will execute his wrath on upon him who doeth evil.

Ok? Not sure what any of that has to do with the post you responded to.

What does any of this have to do with the laws in Alabama?

Maybe this question has already been answered. If so, then I apologize, but I'm not reading through what I figure is a shite show
Does the new Alabama law have anything that prevents a person from going to a neighboring state to get an abortion?

surely you jest. I doubt there is another state in the union that is more likely to vote according to the religion of the residents.
edit: and yes, it may very well be struck down, but that's what it has to do with "the laws in Alabama"

No. Georgia's does though.

Can't see how that would ever hold up

That's like saying you cant stop murder, so dont legislate.
You cant stop any crime, so dont legislate.
You don't have half the population wanting murder to be legal. That's the difference.
The laws are set up for society to function best according to the desires of the majority as a group. Nearly everyone wants murder to be illegal, so it is.
Regarding abortion, a huge part of the population thinks that it's not only NOT immoral, but that a woman should have a right to it.
When half the population is demanding a basic right to murder, while the other half wants it abolished for religious reasons, then your point would hold up. Until then, it's garbage.

It's like saying I went to Colorado on vacation to smoke weed and they are going to arrest me for it in Georgia

I'd be really interested to see what the result of a national vote to ban abortions after the first trimester would be. I might be wrong, but I suspect it would pass overwhelmingly.

I hate to sound lazy but can someone please give me the cliff notes of this law: I am in Colombia (the Country not city) and my wife started yelling because Alabama made the local news. WTH did we as a state do now?
Posted on 5/21/19 at 5:12 pm to JustGetItRight
Probably, that's what France has.

Agreed.
I have very personal views based on what life is and when it begins that are completely removed from religion.
But, it is a personal conviction that may or may not fit the majority view.
I hate the incest rape of a juvenile argument, as it is just poor debate tactics. It is an extreme, very isolated incident meant to appeal to emotion. So, I am not talking about that extreme.
That said, I would support the "women's right to choose" if state's required a best attempt at identification of the father and his consent as well. Further, any man that does not want a child while the woman chooses to keep it should have every "right" to waive his obligation to the child.
Personally, I feel a man should live up to his obligations in all things, killing conceived human life is wrong, but, above all, the rules should be balanced for both partners. The right to abortion or choice to bear a child is solely a woman's choice at the moment and that is wrong.

It bans all abortions after the heartbeat can be detected - roughly 6 weeks. And it has no exceptions for rape or incest. It punishes any doctor that performs an abortion with up to 99 years in prison.

Dude, this is patently ridiculous.
Psalm 139 - 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Job 31:15 “Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form both of us within our mothers?”
Psalm 22:10. “From my mother’s womb you have been my God”.
Isaiah 44:24
quote:
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,
Genesis 9:6
quote:
From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. 6“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.
I don’t know what your motivations are for misrepresenting the Word of God, but He will not hold blameless those who blaspheme and mock His Word.
In all seriousness, friend, repent of this wickedness. God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29) and It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31).
