re: I hate that LSU / MSU baseball series starts tomorrow on a damn thursday.

Use hailstate plus if you want to continue listening to him! Thats what i have used for games not on secn+. Thursday game is on espnU and friday is secn.

Yep, but with radio it depends on weather etc. Otherwise you are correct, can listen to him online thru hailstate.

I’m not gonna complain too much but to be honest, unless you get to the games, trying to have friends over with an ice chest of beer etc and listening to the radio just sucks. Sure, you can cookout and turn your iphone on but it’s not the same as with a group listening to radio. Jim Ellis is an icon calling baseball just like Jack Cristil was for football. Just ain’t the same.
(I do use my Espn app but that’s not the same either).

Is there anyway to sync Jim's broadcast with the video so I don't have to listen to Matt or Bart or whoever else is calling the game?

no. jim's broadcast is actually ahead of secn+ but it should be in sync with espn and secn i believe. you can also pay to watch hailstate's broadcast from behind home plate but you wont get any different camera angles. im pretty sure thats how it works at least. i usually listen to jim for all of the midweek games and on weekends plug my phone to the tv and watch (while checking twitter because it is ahead)

Yes. I listen to the radio broadcast on my phone. The radio broadcast is about a minute or so ahead of my Roku. You pause the audio on your phone to sync it up with the Roku TV broadcast. It takes a couple of tries to get it right. I listen for a ping from a hit on the radio. Then pause audio and try to time it up with the batters swing on TV.

If you look at State's home schedule, their games against teams with the best traveling fan bases both start on Thursday. LSU and South Carolina. Cohen must have pissed someone off. But that comes natural for him.

Why would Cohen care? MSU doesn't need any help with attendance
