He is a dual threat jake Fromm. Thankfully we will still get a badass dual threat in 2021.

Brock? What I see says he's a pro-style.

There is nothing about that kid that is Jake Fromm... unless you're strictly making a size comparison.

Jake may not be the greatest HS recruit we've ever signed, but he was infinitely more "game ready" than Vandergriff...

How is this kid rated so high? He plays for Prince Avenue for goodness sake. It's not like they're tearing up elite competition week in, week out.

Intangibles. He has size, arm strength, and and is a coach's son. I've seen him play. He's poised and throws a good ball. His team trounces Little Sisters of the Poor but struggles against secular private schools. He would have been a nice get but I'm not sweating it. Glad he's going out of the SEC.

Saw this and went and looked at what has been said about him. The scouting report on 247 backs up what you say. He di run for 1,000 yards as a sophomore, which is very impressive and seems to put him in the DT category. But, 247 has him listed as a Pro style and says:

Primarily projects as a pocket passer at the next level but shows nice athleticism in making plays with his legs , rushing for over 1,000 yards as a sophomore.

Now, just because they think he projects as a pocket passer doesn't necessarily mean he will be one. He could turn out to be a great DT. Who knows?

Yea, its silly for the services to say someone projects as something that he clearly is not. Not to mention OU doesnt target Qbs who dont run.

Outstanding. Smart continues to embarrass Mullen & destroy UF’s future. They don’t know it yet, but they’re a has-been. That reality will hit Nov 2 when we destroy them. Again.
