Too hard. Even by sport is tough.
Just picking between Carl Lewis and Jesse Owens for track in Alabama is tough.
Jesse Owens was ground breaking and amazingly brave as a human being, but different times and circumstances. Lewis was truly competing against the world's best... not just the majority of the world's best whites.

I wouldn’t even begin to know how to answer this question.
Adding to Farmer’salready comprehensive Texas list, I’d probably include Ernie Banks, AJ Foyt, Ben Crenshaw, Byron Nelson, and Carl Lewis. Maybe Mary Lou Retton and Simone Biles with honorable mentions for gymnastics.

Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Bo Jackson or Jesse Owens would be tough to choose from.

Terry Bradshaw.
4 Super Bowls. 1st overall draft pick.
Set a national high school record for the javelin.
And he's got a naked room.
