He is mulling his options but he’s not been the same since his knee injury, just does not seem to trust it.

He would literally be doubling down on stupid by getting behind our shitty O line.

Honestly I hope it works out for Francois, but its not a good fit. He's just not the same player he used to be or was thought to be. I'm not sure if its injuries or just a guy playing enough football that you see the holes in his game.. We have more upside with the guys we have now imo.

The Jarrett Stidham effect. shite gets real when you face competition.
Posted on 12/20/18 at 12:27 am to ThaiTiger24
It didn't work for Stidham so why do you think it will for someone with less arm talent and just slightly better running ability? We HAVE to go full dual threat.

Dude is 90 pounds soaking wet.

If Gus could develop our QBs out of high school then we wouldn't be having this annual QB transfer discussion and yet here we are again while Gus is laughing all the way to the bank.

First I will say...I do not want him
With that said he's a lot better qb than you all are giving him credit for.
He's played behind some of the worst olines in the country.
Yes..even more terrible than ours.

Worst comes to worst, I say let Nix have a shot.
He has been coached up since a kid, and I think he is the future anyway.
Why true freshman quarterbacks are taking over college football
I mean, there will be growing pains, but I think the author is still not off base.

Why true freshman quarterbacks are taking over college football
quote:
That quarterbacks are arriving on campuses more prepared than ever for the physical task of running a college offense is due to factors such as private quarterback coaches, the increasingly complex schemes on the high school level, the ability to get time at the position nearly year-round and the option many quarterback recruits have to enroll in the spring of their freshman year.
quote:
. As fewer and fewer teams run what can be termed a “pro-style” system, one more rooted in traditional spacing and tempo, incoming quarterbacks are often stepping into schemes not outwardly different than what they experienced on the high school level. The playbook is more complex, certainly, but still based on familiar concepts, particularly for those stepping into a spread-based offense.
I mean, there will be growing pains, but I think the author is still not off base.
