Just landed Nakobe Dean. Appears to have missed on the other 4. I’ll take it

Nakobe Dean is a monster.

So far missed on Sanders but got Dean. Will find out on Neal shortly (likely Bama). Haselwood seems doubtful but he and Stevenson still have a ways to go before it’s official

Dude. Alabama and now Auburn has to start a thread about Americus?

Answer me this. how is Auburn doing? Y'all got that top 5 class like y'all were telling us this past Fall?

It Happens , out of the 5 guys though. The most important were Nakobe and Haselwood. Looks like he’s headed to OU which sucks bad because we need receivers. Sanders and Neal would have been luxuries and would have loved to have them but at the end of the day getting Dean was priority 1. After that, I’m happy either way. That kids tape is nasty.

If he goes to OU, do you think Fields winds up there as well? OU has a hell of a recruiting pitch in that they've produced the last 2 Heisman Trophy winners.

Interesting. Neal and Sanders were the most important for us. Dean was way down the list of importance.

Word is Ohio State is in the driver's seat. Lot of NFL smoke going on with Riley.

If Mack Wilson comes back, I guess. But if he ends up leaving that’s a pretty dang big need. Your fellow members of the Tide have even said so.

Our OL is in good shape for the foreseeable future. Our running back roster still has 3 5 stars and a 4 star in Holyfield so while it would have been nice to add some depth it wasn’t the biggest need on the team. Our starting ILB this year was a 2 star Tae Crowder who played really well but most of our young backers have struggled at times and Nakobe is a stud. He was a big get for our team needs. Haselwood and Stevenson would be good gets as well but I’m not getting my hopes up. Overall,’it’s a good day to be a Dawg. Sitting at 93 score and the number 2 class in the country I’m not going to complain.

hey, GUS SAID WE HAV A REALLY GOOD CLASS!!!!

Think he is on crack - he apparently hasn't seen our awful O line recruiting and doesn't know we are like 3-4 guys short on the O line.

Dean is a stud, I'd loved to get him. But if we sign To'oto'o we'll be pretty set at LB this cycle.

And Mack is definitely coming back on top of that.

lol this is from the Miami insider at 247 regarding haselwood. I almost feel bad for Richt at this point.
"From my understanding he was using the Hurricanes as a bit of a smoke screen to hide where he was going."

Mack is coming back. Have Ale Kaho, a 5-star from last year, in a reserve role. Have several LB committed and are presumed leader for Henry To'oto'o

Hell, from the looks of it none of the recruiting insiders and analysts at ESPN, 247, and Rivals are worth a damn. They change their CBs as often as the wind changes direction, and then they claim they were right all along. Predicting 18 year old kids is often nothing more than throwing darts at a board.
