Looks like we’ll be close to 100% on Saturday in terms of players recovering from injuries.

I don't make 8 million a year to make these decisions, but I hope he rides the pine Saturday.

We need him more down the stretch. We have enough RB's to put a hurting on MSU. Let him rest the next 2 weeks and unleash him on Auburn.

I would love to see him do to Auburn what Derrick Henry did his Heisman year. 312 carres for 9,468 yards.

Other than Ga, and the playoffs, this will be a big test.
I think we could just run the ball down Auburns throat. State has real a good def line, and they might have figured things out with their QB. He gave us fits last year, running and throwing.

I think he has regressed as a passer this year. He no longer has Mullen (QB whisperer) to help him out.

I think our O-line will give Tua enough time and we will eat their secondary up. MSU has a hell of a front 7, but we should be able to throw on them, early and often.

Meh, he threw the ball decently well against A&M and Louisiana Tech.

He went 13/24 for 158 yards passing last year and ran 21 times for 66 yards. Considering that was the peak of our injury situation in the front 7 and that's all he could muster, and considering he's no better this year, I feel pretty good we're going to shut him down.

State and Auburn have basically the same rush defense numbers. State is very good rushing the pass on passing downs/3rd and long. We don't get in many of those.

I don't think State matches up very well with us.

I could not be much more surprised. I thought Najee was hurt really bad. Glad to hear he's doing much better, but my inclination is to rest him. But, like someone else said, they don't pay me 8 mil a year for my coaching "expertise."

Practicing doesn't mean much. He could be in a black jersey watching most of the practice. I'll be mildly surprised if he plays on Saturday.

I mean, Jalen practiced last week and did y'all see him "running" in that clip prior to the game?

True. And no need to rush Najee back, we've got 3 other very capable running backs. I'd rather have him down the championship stretch run than risk him reinjuring it against Moo State. We need Najee to win the state, then the league, then the nation.

You’re right Najee isn’t the difference maker we need against MSST because the other backs are just as good but unlike LSU they’re not a soft front seven. Bama is not rushing against MSST for almost 300 like they did against LSU. Bama is going to have to pass to beat state.

Anyone know where Jeudy was today? Media practice reports say he wasn’t spotted.

I was about to ask that same question. Where is Boz when you need him?

Saban just said he tweaked something at practice but he’s fine and it’s not a problem.

I would like to sit Najee and give Brian Robinson his carries and see what happens. I think we'll like the result.

The guy that really needs to be 100% is Jalen Hurts. Any update on his status? He's three weeks removed from his injury so I hope he's well on his way to full recovery.

Would be nice but did you see him walking at Tiger Stadium 5 days ago?

I haven't been taking notes. Has he already passed the 4 game limit? It's seems like he probably has, but I'm not positive.

State away from home has been pretty bad in SEC games.

We've been pretty pedestrian against them coming off of the LSU game, so this game always worries me.
