1.) Tua is GOAT
2.) A few weeks ago, a poster made a post asking which 5-Star future NFL WR (Jeudy-Ruggs III-Smith) would lose their starting job to Jaylen Waddle. Other posters insulted him, some said he will have to be patient and wait for his turn...
No.
This man is an animal. I thought Jeudy-Ruggs-Smith would be the best WR core we’ve ever had. They are. They didn’t disappoint. Having said that, Waddle is taking one of their spots, I have no idea which one, but he will start soon.
3.) I rolled my eyes every time someone said Josh Jacobs was our best RB. After seeing him get the start today....Josh Jacobs is our best RB. No disrespect to Damien, but Jacobs adds even another dimension to the offense.
4.) By the time he leaves for the NFL 2.5 seasons from now, we will be debating about who the best CB Saban has had at Alabama, Dre Kirkpatrick or Pat Surtain Jr....
5.) With half a season to go, Alabama has 3 MONUMENTAL things on the line....
An undefeated, National Championship Season would...
a.) Give Nick Saban his 7th National Championship, the most ever, and undoubtedly make him the GOAT.
b.) Tua would probably win the Heisman Trophy, and would put him in the conversation for Greatest College Football Player ever with Tim Tebow, Hershel Walker, Reggie Bush, Barry Sanders, etc...
c.) A Natty without question puts 2018 Alabama in the Greatest Team of All-Time conversation with the 2001 Miami Hurricanes & the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers. We’ve been beating teams in the 1st half, then taking the foot off the gas. We could have scored 100 points 3-4 times this season at least.

Watching LSU v Mississippi State is making me feel better about the trip to Death Valley if this is the offense we're facing.
If Alabama skulldrags LSU in their house like we've been doing everyone else, the Rat Poison is going to reach levels that we've probably never seen before.

I feel even more comfortable about the LSU game now.

I wouldn’t feel too comfortable about LSU. They are a very formidable opponent. They dominated Georgia and State has a great defense. Bama should win, especially if Tua plays and is anywhere near 100% but it will be a tough game.

If Tua is 100, LSU has no chance. Bama by 20 plus.

I have all the respect in the world for this LSU team. But, I have confidence in Tua and his ability to not just make explosive plays but to continue to make smart plays.

I just don’t see anything in LSU’s offense that scares me vs our defense. It’s not the type that typically gives us problems. I certainly don’t see much of a quick scoring ability. We get an injury or two this may change.
Their d is good, for sure, but I see us better able to sustain drives and wear them down. We are very efficient.

n the history of Alabama Football 18-times they had a QB throw 4-TDS in a game TUA has done it 5-times in #eight starts

My take away is our offense played poorly in the 2nd quarter and we still had 42 points at Halftime. Lol

We still have to clean up the penalties. We are still getting costly penalties, have been the whole year.
Most people aren't notcing because when you're up by 30-50 points they don't seem as bad, but we have prolonged so many opponent drives or killed our own.
Can't let that happen against better competition.
New punter was a big boost.

Bamas defense will score more TDs than LSU s offense

This may be the best receiving corp ever put together.
Speed,Speed,Speed, all over the field. The fact that Tua is hitting them in stride is huge.
The time on half of Bama's opening drive TD's is 1 minute or less.
Every pass attempt by Tua has a good chance of going the distance.
Tua is making Irv Smith,Jr. look like Ozzy Newsome.

Robinson is an underrated back as well.
He rarely gets to play with the first OL, but he's a beast and he is definitely faster than Najee and Damien.
Jacobs is quicker, but not sure he can outrun Robinson.
CNS's best CB in the league so far is Kareem Jackson.

Our players love to get chippy whether provoked or not, they need to be the bigger man.

1. Tua spoils the hell out of me. I didn't think he was really at his best yesterday but he still put up amazing numbers and led the team and that throw to Waddle was ridiculous.
2. Waddle might be the best WR on the team. I think it's between him and Jeudy at this point but that's no disrespect to Ruggs or Smith. Most importantly, he had primarily been backing up Jeudy until this week, and this week he moved around some with Smith out. Him being able to move around is going to be huge for this team in terms of versatility.
3. Quinnen Williams is ridiculously good and Buggs isn't far behind. Really impressed by the DL as a whole yesterday and Ray did a nice job stepping in. Buggs has I think 8.5 or 9 sacks now, and Q. Williams is working himself into a first rounder next spring.
4. I don't know what Damien did to get in the doghouse, but Jacobs may not give that spot back to him. JJ is a complete back - blocking, running, receiving. The way he's playing I'm trying to enjoy the next few games because he may not be back with us next season.
5. I thought the defense was playing their best game early. A couple senseless (and questionable) penalties really helped UT get going. The hold on Thompson was ridiculous especially. With that said, I'm not nearly as concerned about this group as I was three weeks ago. I do think the margin in some of these games leads to letdown which is going to make their overall numbers not as good. I do think we miss Diggs a little bit, but I don't know who we are going to play that can take advantage of that absence.

Waddle is great but there's more to receiving than catching the ball, his blocking isn't great and he gets confused before the ball is snapped, however he's awesome

I am used to the offense putting out big plays by now but I was most impressed by the defense early on. Thought we played with the most speed and had a chip on our shoulder for the first time this year , even the OM game. Looked like defenses of old

Tua continues to amaze me. I can not remember a QB except maybe when Peyton was at UT that hits WRs in their stride like he does. Combine that with their speed it is a TD every time.
But last night 2 plays really impressed me with his talent. The first was that scramble where you thought he was tackle, still not sure how he was not, and then threw the ball to where the WR should have caught it. But still reminded me of a JFF play. The other was the bad snap. He just picked it up off the ground and went about business like is was a normal snap.
His play reminds me of when Tiger was at the top of his game. Tiger could hit a tee shot into the worst rough on the hole or behind a tree and still make a birdie. Like nothing phases him and just like Tiger is convinced there is no bad play as goes for the green others just lay up and hope for par at best or a bogie and move on. Tua every play he sees the opportunity.

If you win the toss against Bama, don't defer. Just don't.

Yep. We had both of their scoring drives stopped, but penalties reversed those stops. The defense played pretty well overall. The secondary is still having some growing pains, but improving.
