Georgia 30-13. I see a methodical, business like beating where we wear them down on the lines of scrimmage as the game goes on.

Uga wins 38-10. I was looking at the game when they played coastal carolina. Even though it was a blow out. Coastal carolina had decent looking stats from the QB and RB. The running ran for 12 Carrie's for 59 yards which is decent. Just imagine our running backs stats will look like and our mammoth offensive line.

I don't understand all these picks showing South Carolina with 10 or 12 or 17 points. Our defensive front 7 showed lots of weaknesses against Austin Peay. Meanwhile their offensive line looked like most people expected ours to look; they blew Coastal Carolina completely off the LOS multiple times and their pass protection looked very good.
I hope Coastal Carolina's defense is very bad, or our defense plays a completely different game. Otherwise, we'll give up a lot more points than this board thinks.

Agree. Considering who we were playing, our defensive front didn't look all that special. Perhaps they were a little unmotivated or trying to "mail it in" at times. But on the whole, our defense did not as tough as the UGA defense of late last season.
I also recall that Smart commented after the game that we need to "grow up and toughen up."
Let's hope there's a big jump from game 1 to 2.

For heaven's sake, APSUs coach asked for mercy at the end of the third. We played 87 fing players.... Still don't know who played QB for us in the 3rs and 4th qtr.
We did it all playing base o and d. That is as dominant as a team can be.

The hubris all over the internet for the Gamecocks is making me feel the same way. MSU fans were feeling like kings after that LSU win and all their posters could do was talk about how we couldn't run with them.
Maybe we need "a Flea Flicker to get the night started!" to remind them what's good.
