Negatives:
We are playing a different team than the one last season. If you recall they didn't make life easy for us (Score 24-10). Like others have pointed out, we are playing in their house. That means advantage USCe for house noise (fans and music/rooster), home game hype, and for some reason officiating seems to lean toward the home teams' favor. If the officials allow the players to play and don't make drive killing calls against us (like the regular season game vs. Auburn) we will be fine. We have to be extremely disciplined. We can't give them any reason to let the flags fly. DOWNER: Bentley is more experienced and he has his playmaker back.

Positives:
I expect it will come down to coaching and depth with a little special teams to sweeten the game. We have all three, with more skilled personnel from a coaching and player standpoint. Business approach and focused/determined attitude is key. We have that. Bonus: OLINE DEPTH & Cook will have fresh legs in the second half.

I predict: 30-17 DAWGS

Question: Has anyone scouted their secondary? How well do they defend the pass?

South Carolina vs Georgia 11/4/17 > FINAL

USCe (10) VS UGA (24)
GAME 1 2 3 4 T
USCe: 0 7 3 0 10
UGA: 7 7 7 3 24

To be fair we may have game planned like a day for AP, not to mention their offense is more like a Georgia Tech then it is a USCe

I think both defenses leak points. High scoring game, with UGA pulling away in the 4th. 45-34.

10 - 17 point win for the Dawgs. USC is the second best team in the east but the divide is as wide as the water in a Pat Conroy novel.....

ctions by Griffindawg We intercept their first pass and blow them out 41-0 in their own stadium On Monday all the talkers say Carolina sucks and Georgia hasn’t been tested yet.

Ok so I got the INT on the first drive but not the first pass, and the 41. They earned 10 of their 17. We gave them 7 at the end...I was pretty close though

USC tries to go cute and tries to hit a home run with their opening drive to get the crowd into it. That backfires and UGA capitalizes immediately and the blowout is on.

I’ll take my credit for Baker’s balling out now

I don't understand all these picks showing South Carolina with 10 or 12 or 17 points.

Well, glad to say I was wrong and the blowout picks were right. Dawgs D played better than week one and Bentley reverted to the mean. Also, wasn't a great showing for BMac in his first big game as OC. But, that takes nothing away from our our defense; they played strong in the heat and got better as the game went on.
