So...will Saban name a QB1 or continue the charade?

If the post-game interview is any indication we’ll be pretending for at least another week that Tua is not a clear #1.

Dumb thread. Tua is QB1.

As long as he tells Tua he's #1, which I think he has, who cares what he says to the press?

It's actually annoying now. Just say Jalen can help the team but tua is the primary guy. That would end the questions how hard is that

What difference does it make? It’s obvious who the QB is. Does Saban need to tell you something so obvious for you to believe it?

Then fricking say it already. Pretending there’s an even competition for a starting job serves no purpose.

Bama fans clamoring for Saban to name a starter serves no purpose. We saw what they plan to do. Tua is QB1. Jalen is continuing to be developed. There is nothing to say. That is it.

We just have some stupid, stupid, stupid fans.

Saban is still undecided. He'll tell us when he makes the decision. You all need to trust the GOAT. These message board posters act like they know more than CNS. He sees the practices every day that we don't see. I've heard from insiders that Tua is still having turnover problems

Im fine with Saban not saying anything.. its all decoys for other teams.. but
YOUR INSIDERS ARE WRONG THEN.. Tua has not been turning the ball over.

The decision is made. Tua is the guy. What are you smoking? I doubt any insider has told you that.

Saban was so defensive post game when asked about how the QB's played. Objectively one looks like a future first rounder, and the other one looks just like we knew he would. I'm puzzled as to why he doesn't let Jalen be second string.

As if any other team is going to buy into this charade and prepare for Jalen. They’ll prepare the punt return team. That’s about it.

Yeah, there is no strategy to it. I could see an argument for the first game if you tried to push Jalen as a starter so Louisville focused on containing the QB run instead of the pass. After this game no one is going to prepare anything special for Jalen. Especially since Tua can run as well.

This is far from accurate! I was at the second scrimmage and talked to a few people that have said Tua has been having a superb camp.

If Tua is taking the lions share of the snaps and Bama is winning wtf difference does it make. Why does he have to come out and say a damn thing. Watch the damn game and figure it out.
